A lot of vegetarian options - very nice to see. I like this place. The prices are good, foods are yummy, drinks are nice. Love the happy hour deal for 2 Proseccos just for $16 and 2 cocktails for $22. The kumara fries are nice and so is the the tofu burger.
I had the beef burger. Theres no burger I'd rather eat, it's perfect.
I also had the potato skins as a side, delicious.

The kiwi burger was awesome. Meat was cooked a perfect medium rare. They use good quality ingredients and is absolutely worth the price. The milkshake however was pretty disappointing. Very small, and unbearably sweet. The shoestring fries were cooked perfectly, and served with very nice (albeit a sadly small amount) aoili.
Staff were professional and polite.

There are burgers and there is Burger Burger, a lot say they make the best burgers in Auckland well we are here to find out. We started with the most basic ones which is their Cheese Burger (NZ$14.00) which is made with NZ Grass-Fed Beef Patty, Pickles, Tomato Jam, Mustard, Mayo and Aged Cheddar. We also tried their Fish burger (NZ$14.00) which is prepared with Panko-Crumbed Market Fish, Caper Dill Mayo, Tomato Jam, Rocket and Squeeze of Fresh Lemon. Burger was amazing, juicy and meaty, I guess I can agree that they make great burgers if not the best in Auckland.
Me and a friend came here for lunch and got ourselves a fish burger meal with their fries, and i’m literally in love with their fries. Their burgers are again really over hyped and not that nice, but their milkshakes and fries are amazing. The service is alright and when me and my friend came here it wasn’t that busy so it was nice. Wouldn’t highly recommend it though.
Came here Last week Friday. And I was not disappointed, I was quite pleased with my experience. From looking outside into the restaurant it looked busy, when we entered we were seated, and had a few minutes to browse the menu, when we were finally asked to order we were then told there would be a 20 minute wait, which I feel we should’ve been told before we were seated. That’s the only downside but other then that everything was pretty good! Burgers are a little overpriced for what you receive but they’re still yummy. The curly fries are the best and the coruba libre is to die for! Because the restaurant was busy, it was very loud and hard to hear who you were talking to, but that’s expectable on a busy night, So I understood it was busy as I work in hospitality my self and when it’s busy, that’s just what you get along side with it. Would come back again :)

They're super filling so you don't need any extras. But if you want a side you can't go past the onion rings they were so good. Because the burgers are so filling its value for money.
The staff are friendly and observant especially when its busy which is great.
I've been told repeatedly that their thick shakes are amazing too (by literally everyone who goes there regularly).

Get the bunnace. Yeah, you’ve got the options but you’ve also got the taste. Burger Burger always cooks their meat to perfection!!! The beef melts in your mouth, the chicken is tender, the lamb is just perfectooooo!
Last night, I ordered the special, ‘Hot Mexican’, a sexy wee thing with the perfect amount of spice, an overload of guac and yummy chicken + prawns. A bit random, hey, except it totally worked. The aged cheddar balanced all the flavours perfectly and all in all, I was one happy gal. Face covered in paprika mayo but whatevz... Anyway! Your Burger Burger experience isn’t complete without a side of kumara fries & broccoli. So we threw that in for good measure.
If you’re a Burger Burger newbie go for ya classic beef & cheese or mini Mat. If you’re a hungry hippo like me, get ‘Big Mat’ which is basically double everything in your ‘mini Mat’ burger. Bigger is better in this scenario so just ball out and get the Big Mat.
Would rate Burger Burger 10/10 but unfortunately, it is slightly pricey for a burger joint (-1). Zomato doesn’t let you hand out 4.5’s so we’ll round it up and give ‘em a 5 😎😘☝🏽
I’ve been to Burger Burger multiple times and enjoyed it dearly. I love the environment it creates with a authentic and raw aesthetic to the restaurant. The outdoor area looks great and so does the inside. The food was very nice and I really really enjoyed it. The staff were also very kind and had a fresh vibe around them which was nice. I also liked the music. I don’t have a lot to say about Burger Burger other than I’ve always enjoyed my experience and I’m always impressed by their work.
The staff were extremely polite from the minute we stepped into the store! The food was quick to arrive. The curly fries and onion rings were fresh out of the fryer and very crispy. The beef burger however lacked flavour and I could only taste the pickles. The food is a tiny bit overpriced but the restaurant environment made up for it. Overall positive experience and would definitely recommend.
Absolutely awesome! No faults! Great, fast, food and service!! Really love it here def worth the price!! 5/5! They milkshakes are pretty good as well!! I recommend this If you really enjoy burgers!

My first time going to Burger Burger and I wasn’t disappointed.

We had to stand at the entrance for a little while before we were seated.
There were no dining tables available so we had to sit at the benches, but the waiter was apologetic.
A waitress kindly took our order and gave us extra time to look over the menu. She also gave us recommendations on what to get on the menu.
The food took 10 minutes to come which is a decent time to cook fresh burgers.
The workers cleared our plates after we finished and was very polite while we paid for the bill.

We ordered the eat lit burger, buchimgae, the lamb, the fish and onion rings.
The eat lit burger was juicy and tender. The fritter was crispy with a creamy and sweet filling. The gochujang was a mixture of sweet and spicy.
The buchimgae had tender pork with a salsa and jalapeños that add a kick. It was all wrapped in a soft and fluffy pancake.
The lamb had sweet and juicy beetroot that added a crunch to the lamb.
The fish had delicious fish wrapped in crispy fried batter. The lettuce was refreshing and light.
The onion rings were super crunchy and seasoned nicely with a touch of parmesan.
Ambiance: 7/10
We were seated indoors at the benches which were slightly uncomfortable, especially since my stool was uneven.
It is quite dim inside but the outside is super bright and bubbly. The dark wooden furniture absorbs the light and feels quite classy.
It is super lively inside and out with friends and family happily chatting away, perfect for a hangout.
There is an open kitchen so you can watch your burger being made.
There is loud music playing to boast the livelihood.
Burger Burger serves variety of quality burgers at a decent price, definitely worth your time and money.

My favourite burger spot in Auckland, these guys do the best burgers and their fries are to die for!. The meat always tastes fresh and is cooked well and their aoili matches up so well with their fries, especially their kumara fries. Absolutely massive selection of burgers and ambiance is calm and cosy. Service is quick as always, food comes in about 10 minutes.
10 of us booked a table for a birthday party. Staff were super amazing and accommodating, giving us the warm table we requested and allowing us to even bring our own desert. Everyone thought the food was incredible and the staff served us all at the same time. Their menu even catered to some quite strict dietary requirements. Thanks for a great night out!
A really positive experience! I ordered the chicken Balad (burger as a salad) and really enjoyed it, the chicken was delicious! My only problem was that my drink was forgotten in the order however, I was out with a big group so that may have been tricky to remember... overall I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere and I will definitely go again!
Burger Burger has a range of different types of burgers to choose from! I've only been there once and had a burger and a chocolate thick shake and they were really good I definitely recommend it for lunch or dinner!

We had a fish burger and pulled pork burger when we visited this place, and we really enjoyed our dinner. Plus the relaxed ambiance inside is a perfect shelter from the strong wind and rain ☔️.
First time trying out this joint with the girls, we got the Mc Fly Burger (cos lettuce version) and the New Veggie burger and the Clean and lean salad. All 3 meals were so scrumptious and fresh and super filling! We all agreed that the price we paid was justifiable and was given a yummy product! We will 100% be returning!
I went a while ago with my friend for a lunch date and the burger was delicious! The strawberry and basil drink was interesting but overall the staff were really friendly and helpful and the meal was nice too.

Burger Burger is one of my favourite spots, visited the Takapuna restaurant many times and I’ve never been disappointed. I usually go for the McFly but this time I ordered this months special, Chick’n Jam and I have to say it is probably my favourite on the menu, unfortunately it isn’t a permanent item. I loved how fresh the fried chicken and verges were and I loved the ranch sauce, almost reminded me of the Big Mac sauce. I recommend you visit Burger Burger asap so you can try this burger but their permanent menu is amazing too! Will be back again and again as always

I ordered the mini mat which isn’t very mini but that’s a good thing! Bigger the better haha, the sauce closely resembles the infamous Big Mac sauce from maccas but you can tell this is homemade and a lot fresher. .
Kumara fries are always good as usual, complimented very well with the aioli.
Staff are attentive and friendly, great food and atmosphere. . I’d definitely be back for more to satisfy my burger cravings!

The three Sawmill beers (Pilsner, XPA, IPA) and mini sliders are great. You get to rehydrate whilst enjoying mini versions of the Fish, Chicken and Beef burgers! Never had a bad burger from here. Even an hour later, they don't go soggy.

What was ordered: Old Smokey, Mini Mat & Kumera Fries (w/lemon aioli from Fish Fish)
The ambience of this food joint is wonderful, it has a real street vibe but it's very well looked after and clean! The staff were friendly and attentive, made effort to ask about our day and what our plans were which I think was really great. The prices are reasonable compared to the prices of the rest of the food in the area so wasn't shocked by a $39.00 lunch bill for two.
Old Smokey was ordered by my partner and he said overall the burger was great - just a bit wet compared to what he's use too. Meat and bacon were cooked well, he asked for medium rare and that was given. Bacon was beautiful and crispy. The caramelised onions, cheese and bbq sauce made it very tasty and were all a great choice to put together.
Mini Mat was basically like eating a Big Mac on steroids. The sauce was tangy and full of flavour which complimented the cheese and the patty. I ordered mine cooked Medium and it was cooked to perfection. I would order this again.
To compliment our burgers we opted for Kumera fries from Fish Fish. These were great, hot and crispy exactly what you expect from any kind of chip! It was served with a lemon aioli which too was fantastic!

My family and I came to 'Burger Burger' at the perfect time (people who got here later had to wait for space vacancy) and were promptly seated and served. All the burgers and rest of the food on the menu looked delicious and I would definitely go back to taste the other options!
We ordered 'Old Smokey', 'Beef with Cheese', 'Chicken' and 'Mini Mat' burgers and also Popcorn Chicken. My 'Old Smokey' was absolutely mouthwatering. It smelt great, looked great and tasted great. I also had a bite (or two) of the 'Beef with Cheese' which was also yum! (I noticed that the 'Chicken' and 'Mini Mat' burgers was not packed as well as 'Old Smokey' and 'Beef with Cheese' so there was a lot of sauce dripping and pieces falling out.)
The Popcorn Chicken was tasty and very hot (temperature-wise). The sauces complimented the chicken pieces, but I found the chicken rather salty. Being nitpicky here, but it was rather dim in the area we sat at. This meant we couldn't really see what we were eating and the atmosphere wasn't as fun and lively as I felt it should've been.
Recommendations: Burger Burger has really yum yum food, so try anything and everything!

The burgers are just like the other franchises. Tasty and full of flavour. The fries are crisp and crunchy. The burgers are also very filling.
Came here for a late dinner with a friend. We were promptly seated in a pretty outdoors courtyard. I ordered the fish burger and my friend ordered the vege burger. The fish burger was amazing, the fish was cooked beautifully and the panko crumb was crispy. The mayo went perfectly with the fish and each bite was honestly amazing. I tried some of my friends vege burger and I didn't like it as much as the fish burger but it was still good. Would definitely come back sometime.
Great first experience! A friend and I called in for a quick lunch with my one year old. Staff were great and set up a lobster high chair for us - which was awesome.
Gave us the right time to order and food came quickly after.
I however cannot eat spicy food and the chicken has some spice to it.

Went for lunch here today with the hubby. I had the Fish Taco. Was delicious. Full of flavour. We shared the curly fries which were amazing. Hubby had the Kiwi Burger which was huge and he said delicious. Service was great. Had there Soda too. Old fashioned lemonade. Will definitely be back.
It was our first time coming to the Takapuna restaurant but we thoroughly enjoyed it. There's much more space than at the Ponsonby one and we were seated straight away. I had the McFly and I have to say, it rates up there with my new fave next to the pulled pork burger. As always we had the amazing potato skins with truffle aioli and it's great to see a real consistency in quality across the different restaurants. The setting was also nice around the restaurant and a little reminiscent of Ponsonby Central.

I ordered the original vegetarian burger and it was really really good! The bun is really nicely toasted and falafel patty was delicious and the sauces are also divine! Can get a bit noisy inside sometimes but it's really nice outside!
The burgers were so so, I was hoping for a little more wow. The burger was cooked medium rare as expected but I found the grind of the meat too course and chewy for my liking. Decor and space is nice. Service was excellent. The cashier didn't make a big deal of me having to run out the car as I had forgotten my wallet - that was really cool of her. Great staff, great space, average burger.
Takapuna is known as the place for decent dining and this place fits the criteria :) Both interior and exterior decorating was on point. They even provide blankets for your furry companions

The curly fries were crispy and flavourful, hits your palette in the right way. I only wish that they cook their fries in the same oil as their potato skins.

We ordered potato skin and fish taco , the potato skin is crispy and full of flavor but not salty I really like it. And the fish taco is one of the must eat item When you dine in here really fresh taste deep fried fish wrap up soft taco I'll eat again next time strongly recommend
Just had lunch in BB takapuna. The place is packed and I found it is dim inside so sat in the shared courtyeard. The waiteress serving our table is absolutely tentative, thumb up for her.
I got morocco melt and mexican 2.0 for my partner plus kumar fries to share.
My lamb patty is great. Nice texture, resonable mix of lean and fat. Like the sause which enhance but does not overide the natural aura of lamb.
Kumar fries is one of the best I had not too crispy nor soggy.
However my partner find his burger is slight overpriced provided the beef patty size and its execution compared to other burger place.
Good burgers- appreciate them asking how the patty is to be cooked. Curly fries are the bomb- and so are the potato skins. Love this place :-)
The burgers were excellent, I like that you can choose how you like your meat patties cooked. I ordered the Ol Smokey burger (cooked medium-well) which was delicious! The pattie was thick and accompanied by caramelised onion and bacon. Also had a peanut n chocolate milkshake which was nice and crunchy without being overalls sweet. The curly fries were really good as well. Service was friendly and fast!

I went here for the first time in the weekend. I got the beef with cheese burger and my sister got the lamb. They were both nice but hard to eat as they fell apart especially the lamb burger. For the price though, I was fairly satisfied. We also got curly fries and they were good. For drinks I opted for the salted caramel shake that was also good. My sister got the special banoffee shake which she also enjoyed.
Just got takeaway dinner from here tonight and WOW!! Burgers ✅✅ Fried Chicken ✅✅ and the Peanut Butter Choc Thick shake ✅✅✅✅ I had the "Ol Smokey" Burger medium with added Pickles, I can't fault it. Food was ready at estimated pick up time, so food was still hot when it got home :) Highly recommend

Okay lemme just start off with the hot sauce they give you with their Kumara fries...talk about a freakin party for your tastebuds!! I'm definitely basing most of my rating just on this sauce Hahaha. Cannot complain with their sides at all. As for the burgers...I feel that they're a little overrated when you compare the portion sizes with what you're paying. The flavours were tasty though! Food arrived in minutes and their menu has a lotta vegetarian options which is always a bonus. The Taka Burger Burger branch is worth a visit!!

A Mcfly chicken burger. Really good, juicy fried chicken, quality bacon, generous chew and tangy smoky BBQ sauce.
A Big Mat. Like a Big Mac but way better. Seriously huge juicy beef patties which you can order cooked how you like, lots of cheese and special sauce. Really tasty and massive.
Popcorn chicken. Tasty, spicy, loads of flavour.
Curly fries. Can't complain.
Both sides came with aioli and BBQ sauce. Aioli was home made and lush.

Delicious burgers! I've been here multiple times with friends and my boyfriend and I love it! Good for a good Ol' fashion burger and fries! I've tried the classic vege burger and the Angus beef burger both which are amazing! Staff are lovely, although when it is busy there can be a bit of a wait on help! However that is understandable and the good food makes up for it!

The food was b e a utttifullll I ordered the lamb burger with a cheeky side of chips. Both were great lamb was tender and cooked to near perfection I inhaled the chippys they were a beaut. My crap tinder ordered the kids meal (grow up) from what I remember she was telling me she thoroughly enjoyed her meal. The price wasn't bad but then again I'm made of money.

Also, ordered the Asian Slaw Veg Burger with fried Tofu coated in sesame, it reminded of Asian street food from S.E.Asia - tasted good. Food 4 / 5, Service 3.5 / 5, Ambience 4/5, Price 2/5. For a Burger Place with a difference, found the price on up side for the quantity and experience.
Went here with my friend the other night for dinner. It is a very cool looking place, the inside and outside flow is great. Decor is different in a good way and you can see everything yet feel like you are in your own space.
The service was great, a lady came and explained the specials, took our orders and even offered some tips on making our experience better.
I had the pork burger on a GF bun with a vanilla thick shake and both were delicious! I felt like the burger could use a little bit more of flavour in the meat as it was overpowered by the slaw that came with it.
Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back again!

All seven of us enjoyed our burgers and fries. Fresh and well cooked to all our likings, except a little undercook for mom who tends to enjoy her beef fully cooked. Anyway, Helena sorted mom's meal in a jiff.

Dined here with my partner tonight, we just wanted somewhere casual to eat & burger burger / fish fish was perfect. This place is set amongst an alley of gorgeous eateries & the decor & vibe in this place is awesome. There were plenty of staff at the door to greet & seat you. It's set up so burger burger is one side of the restaurant & fish fish is the other, you can however order off both menus on either of the restaurant. Between the two menus there is an excellent variety of reasonably priced food. We ordered a little from each menu & had popcorn chicken, potato skins, market fish & a chip butty. I was so excited when I saw chip buttys on the menu it was like reliving my childhood. The bread could have been a little more fresh, aside from that I loved it. The potato skins I was a real fan of, they were perfectly cooked & well paired with the truffle aioli. My partner enjoyed his fish & I liked the fact you got too choose how it was coated. The chicken was well cooked & had a little heat to it which I liked. They also have a really reasonable cocktail menu. I can't remember what the cocktail I ordered was called but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would defo recommend burger burger & fish fish for casual eats & drinks.

I can't say a bad thing about the place the vibe is great the service is a plus and even the food is mouth watering.. the only thing that was a bit of a pain was the wait to get in but I mean it was a great place smiles every where just wishing there was more room as it was such a squish and with the heat of the kitchen right there and all the people the warmth in the room was uncomfortable but I mean the food made up for the little things.. the burgers were incredible and the broccoli was actually my highlight

Our first time at fish fish, love that we were able to order from both menus! Enjoyed the fish tacos and charred broccoli. The chip butty was nice but the bread so amazingly soft that it all falls apart when picked up... They need some kind of doofer like Burger Fuel then it would be perfect

I ordered a panko crumbed salmon burger, which I like, and the chef was quite condescending about it (I don't think he meant for me to see) and questioned my order. He made the waitress come back and check that was what I wanted. If you don't like it made that way don't have it as an option on the menu, simple as that. I don't expect to be judged when I go out to dinner.
Aside from that it was a great time and the burger was wonderful.
Awesome awesome! This place builds on the reputation of the P Rd store, where some consider them to have the best burgers burgers in town. However Takapuna not only has a Burger Burger, now it also has a Fish Fish combined into the same venue venue. As an amateur pescatarian you will no doubt be delighted with the seafood addition, although Burger Burger also do a fish burger. The restaurant hits the spot spot with funky goodness and a fresh faced team, so overall probably one of the more relaxed and fun casual places to eat at in Taka Taka!
Opted for a late night burger was a round 8:30 when we arrived place was still very busy but has outdoor seating areas which was great, just not in the winter time. We had Pulled Pork Burgers plenty of pork which was good to see, buns are soft & buttery just delicious. Staff her are all very helpful & prompt always close at hand if you to a drink to wash down that burger. Will be trying Fish Fish at the opposite end of Burger Burger.
Was nice, did expect more for how busy it always is, it's very exciting place, but my burger was not worth how much I paid for it. The margaritas were lovely
I enjoyed eating here at burger burger. I love the ambience specially in a sunny day as we sat by the window. The waitresses were very friendly, helpful and informative.
I had tried the lamb burger and It was pretty good. I would love if it had more salad as it was quite a meaty burger. I had feijoa soda and some hot chips to share with friends.

Got the chicken burger and potato skins. Chicken burger was good, had a decent amount of sauce and cheese! The chicken was so tender and moist, however just a warning when consuming this burger, the juice just drips everywhere so take extra precaution. Potato skins were a bit of a let down along with the truffle aioli. It has been fried for too long so can't taste too much of the potato and I found that it needed a bit of acidity to balance out the richness from the truffle aioli and oil from the potato skins. Luckily there was tomato sauce on our table. Shoe string fries were nice and cooked to perfection.
Second visit - Got the Savannah Beef Burger, fried chicken with cumin yoghurt and charred broccoli. Beef burger tasted like a fancy version of a whopper burger. Really enjoyed the bun, toasted perfectly and it's nice and light. The fried chicken could do with a touch more salt but cumin yoghurt really hit the spot. Would be nice if we were given more of that yoghurt sauce. Lastly the charred broccoli was good but a bit on the salty side.
Yum, Yum, YUM!! A delicious indulgence. These burgers are the real deal. You can tell they use quality ingredients when you bite into one of these. I ordered my beef burger with cheese to come medium rare. Looks perfect to me! Chups, yuum! Cool location in Takapuna 🍔🍟🍔🍟
Finally we tried it! We love the homemade soda which is pineapple and chilli flavour. It is fancy but tasty. We ordered raw fish salad as well. But We are a bit disappointed.
As a vegetarian, I was very impressed with the vege burger here as it lacked nothing in value compared to the other burgers. Group of four came on a Wednesday evening to find it almost packed but we were able to get a table very fast, within 10 minutes. All of us were very impressed. Great service, great food, great value.

Cold/rainy day outside: warm and cozy inside: this was our invite into Burger Burger. After hearing great things about the one in Ponsonby we had to give this place a try.
Was pumping when we arrived at 1pm but managed to get a table. Staff were friendly and attentive and even though it was busy they seemed to have a handle on it all.
Menu is simple as far as choice but burger combinations are something different to what I have seen before. The one interesting thing they do is their bunless burger, which my wife had (lamb): she LOVED it!!! I went for the lamb burger: forget all lamb burgers you have had in the past: this is the way I want all lamb burgers from now on. Lamb was slow cooked, then shredded, then formed into a patty, then heated and then eaten, WOW! The combination with the cheese and beetroot was excellent.
Keen for my second visit....

Dined here a week after it was opened considering it is more convenient than travelling to Burger Burger across the bridge. Since it was still fairly new, we had to book a table. I enjoyed the overall experience, burgers are of descent sizes and tastes delicious. I would recommend trying their peanut butter milkshake!!!
The only downfall about this place is that they did not tell us that we share a table with other people. I did not understand the point of booking a table if it was to shared with other people anyway? Not too fussy about this but was annoyed that our waitress did not inform us of this.
I had the beef burger medium rare with their hand cut fries. Do not bother with the rest of the burger joints this one is THE BEST BURGER joint in Auckland. Came during lunch and got seated quickly and our order was with us in 7 mins even though the place was packed out. Juicy, full of flavour, perfect medium rare patty and burger buns lightly toasted that was in perfect proportion. I will be back for sure!

The beef burger is always juicy and the patty cooked to perfection. Service is always good too! I also ordered the chocolate and peanut butter thickshake. Yum!

Very happy with my first experience here. Food was reasonably priced and was very yum. It was really packed when we got there so hard to find a seat. What I didnt like was the chairs and tables where you have to share with others while eating. Maybe I'm just being picky but it's hard to have a comfortable dining experience when someone you've never met before is seating half a metre away from you, sharing the same table and all ... Overall, the waitresses were very accomodating. I'll won't probably come back in a good while though.

We had lunch at the newly opened Burger Burger in Takapuna yesterday. We had heard good reports of the other sites so were very much looking forward to it. We were not disappointed as the the ambience, staff and especially the food were very good. We chose the Lamb burger, Pork burger, potato skins, roast broccoli salad, and an amazingly refreshing cucumber & mint soda. The burgers were simple, with lots of very tender juicy slow-cooked meat and condiments that added to the flavour. The potato skins were divine - golden crispy outside and light and fluffy inside. The roast broccoli was smothered in slices of garlic and almonds - a great dish. This is great addition to the cafe scene and we are now looking forward to visiting the sister restaurant, Fish Fish.
After having a great meal at Burger Burger a few weeks ago we just had to sample the Fish Fish side of things. We ordered Terakihi (the fish of the day) and Snapper, both panko-crumbed, with fries. We also had the pineapple & chilli soda and the juniper, lime & ginger soda. The fish was absolutely fresh, moist and beautifully cooked with golden crisp coatings. The fries were massive Agria chunks, perfectly cooked - crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sodas were light, clean tasting, and very refreshing. Simple dishes perfectly executed - overall hard to fault.
The basic beef burger is pretty good. My wife had the special which was a beef burger with haloumi and Harissa which was fantastic. The potato skin fries were OK. Another at the table had the lam burger with lettuce instead of a bun, which was pretty good. Kids had child beef burgers which were quite nice and a lemonade which was very good. Nice venue and staff were good.
Awesome burger joint with a good bar! What an awesome combo that makes! The burgers were really nice and juicy! We got asked how we like our beef cooked, in our beef and cheese burger which was new as other restaurants just make it without asking. We also ordered the mc fly (chicken) burger, so succulent. The potato skin chips were also amazing! The fact they have takeaway boxes in on standby so we can take left overs home is a bonus! The customer service was spot on, not too much in our faces and did not ignore us. Thank you!

Burger Burger are a good eatery and they really do have Amazing good. The burgers are delicious and the curly fries are fantastic. Loads to choose from and Vege options too which is fantastic. From vegetarian burgers to amazing salads!
Nice atmosphere both day and night. Easy in our take away options readily available. Staff are good and know the food. Great service and not too long to wait until your meal arrives, but it can get very busy. Take away options are good and about a ten minute wait when we've been.
It's located in the heart of Takapuna and the only thing I initially found difficult - was actually finding the place!! Haha. Google Maps kept saying I'd passed the entrance but all I could see was a restaurant entrance for another restaurant. Turns out it is actually also an alley way that goes right through to the other side, where's there's a load of parking. While I was waiting I drove down the beach and back up to go park in the lot - then amazingly couldn't find the entrance from the other side either. But found it of course.
We love the curly fries - they are so good! Had the kids meals too, beef burger with curly fries and lemon/lime soda and if you're a small eater ; just the perfect size to fill you up!
Price wise they're on the higher side but the quality of food and freshness, makes up for it. Definitely worth a visit and you'll love the good I'm sure. We did! You'll no doubt keep returning.

Great place for a burger, good beers and staff were very helpful and accommodating over a teens birthday party. Excellently priced kids menu that kept everyone happy!
First time at the restaurant. We were told by multiple people to head down and very glad we did. Burgers are amazing, potato skins (never heard of these before) were fantastic. The staff were very friendly too. Got some ice creams and walked along the beach. We will definitely be back.

Amazing burgers! I think Vege burger here is the best, I'm not a vegetarian though. Skin on chips were bit bitter so I will try curly fries next time.

Always a good experience when i come to any burger burger. Good range of burgers with some really nice specials at times. Slow cooked lamb, slow cooked pork... both so good. Curly fries are fantastic, but the truffle potato skins i found to oily and the basket was not very full. PS the shakes are amazing as well, a little pricey but 5 star.

Best burger hands down that i have had in a loonngg time! I had a cheeseburger and the meat was so delicious, well cooked and hd that real meaty beef flavour. Chips were also perfectly seasoned and crispy.
Cant wait to eat here again when i have the chance!
Fantastic burgers and love the shoestring fries - they still have the skins on! No overly-processed flavours, portions are generous and fairly priced.
It is a very nice and amazing place . The staff are friendly. We tried old smokey burger it was tasty and juicy I really enjoyed it , and chicken burger was tasty and cooked perfectly rich with flavors . The curly fries yummy and crispy served with the aioli .

overall enjoyed my experience here. the staff are really friendly and welcoming. burgers were good - even the buns which i usually don’t like to eat. only complaint is that the chicken in the mcfly burger was a bit dry and flavourless, and i didn’t know the BB fried chicken had lemon juice/seasoning which is a flavour i personally don’t like :( would get again !
Really delicious burgers and sides. The flavours are rich so it was good to share one side between two. The only thing that would stop me going more regularly is the price.

Yummiest burgers and they are super cheap. Whenever I come in the same girl serves me and she is so sweet and helpful. The food is delish, my fav is the vege burger. They have loads of vegetarian options which is a plus. The curly fries are on top. Also- I really want one of the Burger Burger shirts that the servers wear lol.

Enough tables to accompany many parties, the staff are also fast on their feet.
The food is very nice, I personally enjoyed their staple burger as they had a variety of ingredients that you would not expect.
Would recommend if you are in the area looking for a bite with nice beer and great service.
