I love this cafe! They make the best Mochaccino I've ever had! The staff are all really nice! I don't often eat the food there so I can't comment. But the overall experience is enjoyable!
Overall, good service and decent food. There's something on the menu for everyone, even gluten free people like me.
I ordered the steak and eggs to be gluten free. They were out of wedges and offered an extra slice of bread, which was fine by me but not ideal. The steak was a little under cooked but overall the meal was decent. I wouldn't order it again but I'd come back to try other meals. The latte was nice.
My partner ordered the big breakfast and he loved it. We will be back for that. He also highly rated the mocha which came with a little chocolate fish.
Went there for lunch, a lovely place for a bite with good music. The owner recommended the steak burger, it turned to be the desire of my heart. Definitely will be back and hungry for more.
Me and my partner love to come here all the time for breakfast or brunch, we think their eggs beny is amazing and is pretty cheap, you can also get bowl coffee and hot chocolate :)

We went here for Father's Day and I didn't expect this place to be good. I don't know why I've never noticed this cafe before but my dad chose it. I'm glad he did because we had a great brunch.
The service was pretty good considering it was Father's Day and there was a race at Takapuna so the place was full. We all got coffees which were pretty good and arrived at a good time. It hard deciding what food to get but I opted for the panini toast. My mum got the same. My dad had the big breakfast and my sister got eggs benny.
I really enjoyed my panini. I loved the bread. It was soft and tasty and it came with a salad on the side too. My dad enjoyed his big breakfast too and he said the bacon was great.
What surprised us the most was the price of the food. It was so cheap compared to other cafes! Our panini was only $9 and dad's big breakfast was only $15.50. I'm used to other cafes charging $20 or more for their big breakfast so this cafe is a winter in my books. The food was great, the price was even better and the service was up to par.
Came here again today and I got the burger which was massive and such a great value for only $15! I also got a large coffee and they weren't joking that it comes in a bowl. The prices here are so great compared to other cafes.
This is a very nice restaurant to come to as the service is fast and friendly. The food is also nice and always made quickly. The location is nice as it is close to the beach and central takapuna
We went there for late brunch. I had the big breakfast and my friend had carbonara. I love the presentation especially the coffee the food was superb. Even my other friends want to go there to try it.

A Family favourite. Have been to Ragazzi since i was young and always love the food. amazing breakfast at a great price. ! my favourite is eggs benedict of the salmon with cream cheese bagel. safe to say i will be back for many years to come :) best kept secret of takapuna

Me and my friend both ordered the ragazzi big breakfast I personally don't like mushroom or tomatoes and there was no extra charge to replace it with avocado which was awesome!
Such a big meal I couldn't finish it and it was great value for money at $15.50

Toasted sandwich is a really good budget minded meal with salad.
Went for a brunch today at that place, was absolutely wonderful! The food tastes amazing served at large amounts for 6 hungery people! The service was just wonderful and extremely polite! Would definitly go back again was definitly worth it!

We were over in Takapuna to attend an afternoon party so went on the hunt for a light lunch. Many of the restaurants we walked past were closed (must only open for dinner service) so we were pleased to come across Ragazzi, with a lunch menu that included several smaller meals.
The restaurant has some lovely outdoor seating, under a beautiful tree and set back from the street. Unfortunately nearby roadworks sent us inside to the perfectly adequate interior. We sat under a particularly bold art piece that I felt didn't really fit in with the somewhat Scandinavian decor but I'm guess it was their nod to the Italian basis of their menu.
The two servers seemed very busy (and to be fair, all internal tables were full) but were also very friendly, taking the time to interact with our infant son. My husband ordered the bruschetta and after much deliberation I ordered the chicken crostini. We also ordered a cranberry juice and a chai latte, although we did notice a $5 special on three imported beers, something that took us by surprise. We could both picture sitting outside in the shade of the tree sipping on a few cold ones in summer.
When our meals arrived, we were very excited to see how generous they had been for the price. Nothing was skimped on with the bruschetta and it was served with nice thick wedges of avocado, ensuring that satiety factor. My chicken crostini had the exact right proportions of chicken, tomato and goat cheese and had flavour with every bite. We were both quite full by the end and didn't end up eating at the party.
We would return, both to try one of their main menu options and to sample their extensive wine list. My tip? Keep an eye on when those roadworks finish and then have a leisurely afternoon drinking and eating outside.
We've been here a couple of times now and its been superb every time! Coffee is fantastic and food is really reasonable for large portions! Quickly becoming our new Sunday spot! Staff are really friendly and always make you feel welcome!

Coffees amazing, frappes and other blended drinks are great! Tried a tropical smoothie sorta thing it was really sweet for me but I couldn't not finish it.
Cabinet always looks amazing and the cooked food smells and tastes as good as it looks!

I am now a regular in this cafe because of their excellent customer service, excellent products and always a happy place to go in to.
The owners know all of their regular customers by name, which makes it a more friendlier place to visit than other cafes. The prices are competitive too and the cafe promotes different chef specials each day .

We have been to this restaurant on the Shore for a grand total of two times in the two years that we have been living in Auckland. And each time, they have not failed to impress.
We chose to sit outside on a slightly cloudy Saturday morning and the moment we sat down, waters were brought over and the menus provided - that's what I call good service!
I had my usual big breakfast - usually for brunches, I only have a full breakfast - and the missus chose eggs benedict with smoked salmon. Portions were definitely generous and if the missus did not stop giving me bits and pieces of her meal, I would not have been able to finish my breakfast, that's for sure!
For those not looking to have that much food first thing in the morning, I would recommend checking out the cabinet offerings - they appeared impressive but seem to appeal more to the sweet tooth crowd rather than my savoury one.
Bathroom facilities are adequate and the disabled toilet is spacious enough for a wheelchair and its occupant - unfortunately, there are no bars to assist with transfers.
The meal was satisfyingly filling and service was prompt and friendly - a good combo for a weekend meal. Definitely will be back.

Being regular customers for this nice cafe for couple of years. The food are consistently amazing and never fail to impress us when every time we taste. The staffs are very friendly and kind. This cafe became a priority choice for our family specially for my little ones. Highly recommended and worth it to try! Thank you for all the delicious foods and standard service!!

We had brunch there quite a few times by now. We enjoy the food. They are tasty and good value for money. The staff are friendly, most of the time. It’s not a fancy cafe, but it’s cosy and comfy.
This cafe has become a regular when walking the dog. Coffee and food is good as gold. Service is great but poss slows as the cafe reaches capacity. Outdoor area is nice snd even reasonably protected in inclement weather.

Today I tried the daily special which was french toast with bacon. The food was well presented and had a mix of sweet and savoury flavours. Was a good meal at a fair price.
Really nice Cafe, the food is quite delicious, I love the pasta, I have tried two types of pasta in Ragazzi, both is amazing. Open chicken sandwich is also good. Staff is very kind and friendly.
First time at this Cafe today and the service and meals were incredible. Tasted fresh and presented beautifully! Will definitely be back again :)
