Staff dude was super friendly and service was fast.
I usually have higher expectations from by the slice pizza options but it is also a good way to try a wider range of flavours - will definitely be back to try more.
Service was Fantastic! Rufas was friendly and could help with any questions we through his way, pizza team is always awesome there and pizza & zeppolies was super tasty!!

This branch isn't as good as the others. The base of the pizza was quite thick compared to what you normally get. We made a largeish phone order (5 pizzas and 15 garlic knots) and the wait time was 50 minutes.

Sal's Takapuna's location, in my opinion, is excellent - close to the bus station, within the "happening"strip snd very close proximity to the beach - I can actually see the ripples and swell and hear the waves when I step outside.

After only visiting the Queen Street and the K Road branch where sitting down for a meal felt like squeezing into a NYC cab, I found the Sal's Pizza branch at Takapuna which boasted a large comfortable restaurant, complete with outdoor seating and even two large TVs for convenient sports vi
Ohhh how hard it is to resist those tempting, mouth watering pizza rolls 🤤 haha. Alas, we actually ended up just getting 2 slices of heated up because we just had lunch a few hours ago, but getting some pepperoni as we walked along the beach was too good smelling to pass up. Great family friendly place. The young guy on the till was really helpful and friendly for such a young kid he's doing a great job! The food was awesome, easily the best Sal's I've been to, the pizza was so nice and crispy on the bottom and they were generous with the toppings.
