Can’t go wrong with pita pit. Got the usual, grilled chicken with whole meal pita, with all veggies except jalapeños & beetroot. This is my go to meal when I want something light & not too heavy. The veggies here are very fresh & they’re super generous with the amount of avocado they put into your pita!! The grilled chicken is my favourite as the chicken is super soft & goes well with hummus!
This is probably my favourite pita pit outlet & so is the one inside albany mall as the veggies are fresh, good customer service & they aren’t stingy with the amount of veggies they put into the pita!!
I am a regular pita pit customer and have been to a few stores in town and north shore. This one in Takapuna is the best amongst them. Staffs are always very friendly.

Great service from the lovely and bubbly girl who served me, and it was pleasantly surprising to see someone who seemed actively, genuinely eager to address me, cook and complete my order. The food was definitely very good by fast food standards when I got the Breakfast pita from this store. The store had plenty of room to dine in which is a big plus as well.
After trying Pita Pit for quite a number of times now I think I can safely say I prefer Pita Pit to all the other options out there like McDonalds or KFC food-wise, though McDonald's does offer free Wifi which you can bask in if you wanted to spend some alone time with your technology. Pita Pit seems to have a lot more nutrition though given its wide range of "green" ingredients.
Might feel a bit awkward if you were to lounge around for more than 30 minutes as the tables are all quite close to the counter but I suppose they are not really trying to cater to a cafe-style ambiance and dining style. It's more suited to a takeaway option.
Would highly recommend if you are looking for a healthy, quick meal while in Takapuna.

Delicious and healthy
Started enjoying Pita Pit after deciding to go on diet. Similar to Subway but has alot more variety of veges and fruits. Their sauce is amazing too.
Takapuna branch staff members were pretty well trained and friendly. They looked like they should be working at LesMills. Just thought.
Ordered a chicken and falafel salad with a 4 pack of chicken tenders off ubereats. The time it took to prepare my order was quick and efficient. The order came nicely packaged in cardboard boxes, the tenders were still decently warm. The salad itself was actually pretty decent, generous amount of chicken and falafel with fresh and tasty salad ingredients. The portioning was actually huge and the salad easily lasted 2 meals. The chicken tenders were alright, a bit dry and tough but the seasoning was nice and the ranch dipping sauce was also good. Not sure if I'd get again given the vast amount of options in takapuna though.
Keeps consistent with the brand standards of good, healthy food. Always tasty, however I’ve been on a few occasions where there’s been a lot of ‘out of shop’ staff behind the counter causing a lot of congestion and affecting their service badly as it’s taken quite a while for them to push out orders. It always tastes good though and the staff are lovely 😊
I love the food just notice that they are under staff.
When we got there we saw only 2 boys. We didn't complain about how long we waited but would be much better if there were more staff so that would help it faster.
Thank you to Maddy & CJ for being so wonderful - when we stopped by it had been a long and pretty awful day and their thoughtful, attentive and kind service made such a difference. They prepped the most amazing food and ensured that four people did not only enjoy a much needed good meal, but also had their day brightened considerably - thank you Maddy & CJ!
