Loved the lemon cakes!!! Also very friendly staff. We were quite happy to come across this Café on our way from Rotorua to Napier it was a much needed break. Coffee is good too.
I found this place for CamperMate because it's a free camping. When I arrived around 18, the owner allowed to put my tent. He was really kind.
In the morning, I took a good cafe and a sausage roll.
I recommend this place If you are going through it
Cute spot just off the mountain road - try a flat white or an apple tart - piping hot. The wood burning stove was nice on a raining day.
As a USA citizen, I loved the shop woman calling me “Lovey”.

Stopped for Breaky last week Tuesday on way to Hastings but was closed.
A handy place to stop en route to Napier or from. Plenty of parking and a warm fire if on your bike as we were once. Stopped there with BOP Mustang once.
The steak and cheese toastie was absolutely delicious
Quick stop on my way to Napier but ended up looking for a meal. Better try for their pies, love the steak pies. The surrounding view is beautiful
