After being let down by a different Tasman venue I took a group of 13 cyclists to the Tasman Store yesterday for lunch. These guys pulled out all the stops and quickly and efficiently rustled up lunch for 13 guests in a very short time. Well done guys and yes we will be back.

Great real fruit ice creams! This is the local store if you are staying at Kina Beach or Tasman Holiday Park. Sells homemade pies for FridayPieDay, plus lots of great cakes (can recommend the Tradie Slice!) Also sell milk in GLASS bottles, with a return scheme for empties

They do real fruit icecream and frozen yoghurt and yummy cakes, scones, pies. Great coffee too. There are also a few basic groceries for sale as well as local beer, wine and cider and berries and nuts when in season. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. They let me take my dog through the side gate into the back garden/ seating area. Be warned if you come by for a real fruit icecream that the machine is cleaned half an hour before closing! There are other icecreams available in the freezer should you be unfortunate enough to arrive late:)

"The local" neat little store with GREAT coffee and service . . . watch out for the food though . . . all very more-ish! (especially the cheesse scones!) There are nearby galleries, two schools, cylce trail, and an active Tasman Church . . . all-round great community.

An easy place to stop off to enjoy a good coffee. Well used by locals ( and cyclists), which is always a good sign. The freshly baked goods are delicious too.

The Tasman general store is a great place to stop and grab a treat. They have amazing ice cream. It's on the old Motueka highway if you are driving north from Mapua. It's also super close to kina beach and the camp ground there.
