Malabar Nepalese And Indian Kitchen - Taupo - Photo album

As a big fan of Indian food, I would say their food is amazing. And with all respect, we were very upset about the waiting time. We waited exactly an hour for 4 dishes, no one came and explained nothing or asked any further need. It looked that’s their common waiting time, I could see somebody came
My wife and I absolutely loved this restaurant! We ordered the Nepalese Chatpate, Chilli Momos, and Chicken Lollipops! We were so impressed with the flavours and freshen of the Chatpate! You could go and order naans and stuff, I am sure, but if you truly want to try great flavours and something di
The food was outstanding. Flavours and aromatics devine! Generous portions. The waiter was delightful and very accomodating. Highly recommend if you love Indian/Nepalese cuisine.
Amazing yummy food, loved the momos and chicken lollipops very authentic great service and definitely worth a visit if passing through Taupo
Service was nice, food was ok. The hot and sour soup wasn’t sour at all, mango chicken was too sweet and no salt, Vege platter was good except onion rings. Pudding was delicious, and awesome cocktails.
Very nice place to have the dinner. We enjoy the starters dishes as well as main dishes but starters dishes was yummy and main dishes was ok but love it both.
Taste & presentation are absolutely essential but customer service makes a huge difference. Thanks to you guys as you nailed at all of these. Taupo is one of our favourite destination so we will definitely be coming back to you.
A great place for having yummy 😋 starters. Friendly staff. Good ambiance as well. For food, we tried fish tikka, chicken momos and chicken soup and was really good. For mains we had Nepalese chicken curry which was average but the rice and laccha paratha was great. In short mouthwatering starters a
Really great dining experience at Malabar, we ordered the set Nepalese for two. Everything was really flavourful and the portion size and spice level was spot on. One of the best Indian meals I've had in NZ. The restaurant was almost full but service was still very good.
Staff here is amazing and provide with great service. Decor is very welcoming and had plenty of parking available nearby. Food was good too but it was not the best I have had and given how expensive it is I have left one star off. Some Indian restaurants put too much cream in every dish, unfortunate
