Came here on our honeymoon a few years back and it was delicious - I am happy to report there’s still the great same food and service today. This is the ideal cafe stop in Taupo.

The Spoon and Paddle has a nice relaxed vibe to it, and a lot of nice outdoor seating, which was especially good on a sunny day. The food was delicious and I got more than expected (I had the Bao Buns). Service was quick, and the staff friendly.

Absolutely fantastic service! The young Māori woman serving us was very polite and friendly! The food was delicious, I ordered the Hash Stack and it was very well presented. I’d definitely come again if I were going through Taupo
Popped in for a quick lunch. Food was great and the burger portion size was really big. Kids lunches were great too, Had to get a doggy bag for the one of kids as they couldn’t finish their lunch at the time. Outside seating area was great on a warm sunny day. Thumbs up from us.

Shakshukah was delicious - the sauce was just a little bit spicy, the flavours were excellent, the eggs perfectly runny and the flat bread was nicely warmed. My partner's porridge was also very good, served at the perfect temperature and the toppings and flavour was fantastic. Coffee was also great
