We had a wonderful lunch yesterday which was a public holiday. We had no issue at all paying 10% surcharge for the public holiday (if you've been in business yourself you'd understand the additional costs involved and it's our choice to go out to lunch). The mushroom bacon wrap was the best tasting meal I've had after travelling from Coopers Beach Far North to Whangarei, Auckland, Rotorua, Taupo & Hamilton. The shop cabinets were loaded with tasty choices as well as a menu board. The coffee was hot & nice tasting not at all bitter. The shop assistant was extremely helpful when we selected items from the store. A wonderful experience overall. Thank you we would definitely recommend this cafe store.

We're low carb and make subs all the time. They were accommodating and really cheerful about it. The food was lovely, chargrilled bacon cannot be beaten. Their coffee was smooth and flavoursome and they have pouring cream as well. I did not expect to find a place like this outside of a large city like Auckland or Wellington. 10/10, would eat again (and we did, twice)

Really impressed by the teapot for my green tea. I drink a lot of tea in cafés and this is the best so far - ever! Good size and the plunger at the top was fantastic.

My fave spot for anything food related in Taupo. Service, coffee, kitchen 'must haves' and food. What more could a girl want?!

While we dined in, I was blown away by the variety of excellent quality sandwiches, rolls, pastries, cakes and other items for takeaway. They all looked great! Our coffee was excellent. If I was in the area again, I would return just for it! The mince on toast was a standout with a rich tomato flavour and a good helping of garlic and other herbs. It was served with 2 slices of toast and a good amount of butter. I added roasted tomato and spinach. The creamy mushroom was very generous and tasted better with a generous amount of pepper. The poached rhubarb and yoghurt was a delicious fresh dish.

Was just walking in town when i saw this busy cafe. Thought to give it a try and was surprise to see Nasi lemak in the menu. Its not bad and good try for the chef. Sambal was spicy - maybe need some tamarind juice a bit for the tangy.

We stumbled across Replete Cafe by accident and enjoyed the ambience, latte, walnut brownie, and service by Clement. The next day we considered going elsewhere for a change and checked out the top-rated cafes on TripAdvisor. Suffice it to say we went back to Replete. It’s bizarre that it’s not No.1, or at least in the top three. This time we ordered a salad as well as walnut brownie and latte. The bill was NZ$19 which we thought was good value. Afterwards we looked in their shop within the same premises. They sell a variety of home accessories and their buyer has a good eye. Would have bought something but airline baggage restrictions prohibited…

Lovely cafe and friendly staff, got the filo pastry goats cheese and spinach. Beautiful. Light and crispy. The shop adjoining is cool to, quirky ☺️🙌

Beautiful food. We had the sardines and Buffalo mozzarella for breakfast. It was beautifully presented and equally delicious. We'll definitely be back. Thank you

The person who took our order seemed a little stressed and perhaps uninterested in offering a friendly service, which reflects the 4 stars for our initial service. The young lad who delivered our coffees was awesome, thanks. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere and store were great

After searching on Google for a nice little (not a chain) cafe I came up mostly blank. I’m really quite snobby about my coffee tbh 🙈 Then I stumbled on this lovely cafe and the coffee was fab! Will certainly be back.

Big assortment of pre made food and a nice menu, salads were imaginative and super tasty, delish eggs on toast and excellent coffee. Also lots of cool things to look at in the attatched store, so good we tried to go again the next day but it was closed, tried a cafe down the road which was not nearly as satisfying!

Had a very good brunch here it was hard to make a choice. But we both went for the hotcakes. Coffee excellent on the strong side in case you can’t cope with strong coffee get a single shot. Even the decaf was strong.

Cute busy cafe & homewares store - sells gorgeous different stuff. Brekkie was perfect, added smoked salmon on request even though it wasn't a menu option. Cabinet food looked amazing! Coffee was a bit bitter though.

Probably the best lunch I have had in Taupo so far. The ginger latte is spicy and warming, the cappuccino smooth and tasty, and both the kedgeree and Moroccan lamb salad were perfect. Plus they have sufficient sugar and sweeteners at the table, a rare treat where most cafes apportion these precious sachets…

Really good service, friendly international servers. Great coffee, try their flatwhite. After 12 yrs in the USA this place delivered on the want for a sausage roll with their giant "replete pastry". The mega grain roll was awesome. This area reminds me somewhat of Lake Tahoe. So good we decided to revisit this year 2018, great kale salad . A good salad is hard to find in the land of the long White cloud.

We arrived not long before closing, so we were limited to food from the cabinet. It all looked delicious - really well done. My salmon bagel was superb, and partner was still raving about his toasted sandwich the following day 😆

First discovered Replete many years ago, after a long interlude searched it out again. A little difficult as the signage is very subtle, arrived 5min before opening and staff flat out putting out seating. Lots of others had the same idea and 15min all outdoor seating was taken. Word obviously gets around that this is a great place for breakfast.

Best Mochas in Taupo! Great big breakfast to set you up for the day or if you like Blue Frog Cereal (best by far) for those needing something lighter. Great service and the attached gift shop is worth a walk around as a fantastic range at realistic prices. Easy parking and access and super friendly staff.

Busy place at lunchtime on a cold winter's day but warm welcome, warm atmosphere and great warm food inside. We had soup of the day (Moroccan chickpea & tomato) and a Reuben sandwich (corned salt beef, egg, coleslaw and pickles) - both were full of flavour and good portion size for lunch.

Really lovely food with a more interesting selection than most cafés. Excellent service with a smile (and even a collective staff song and dance at one point!). The service is super efficient and our food arrived quickly despite the cafe being busy. The shop part has interesting items that always tempt us. Replete is always our favourite stop for lunch in Taupo and never disappoints. The Kura Gallery next door is always worth a look too.
