The food was excellent. In was in no way their fault I didn't enjoy my yellow curry, that was all on me. The entree coconut soup (forget it's name) was wonderful undertones of Tom yum flavour without the heat. Hubby throughly enjoyed his kebabs and green curry.

Delicious food... We always go to Lotus Thai when in Taupo. Staff /service was friendly, smiley and attentive.
(Missed the lotus shaped napkins on the tables and the hot towel offering they used to do at the end of the meal...nice touches that made Lotus stand out from other similar restaurants)
Great food and service although it will say mild, medium or hot on the menu, you can choose your own heat level.
Kiwi hot is still quite spicy so choose wisely!

Tasty thai food but i believe they can be better as the tom yum is not spicy enough. They should give option to cook the authentic taste when patronise by tourists but again probably they need to cater to local taste.
