Absolutely delicious meal here tonight. Steak and chicken meals we’re beautifully done. Great spot with views to the lake. Staff were excellent, friendly, attentive and efficient. They were also really good with the table next to us with kids too.

The food - it was fantastic! The servings was big and flavourful. The freakshake is a must when dining in.
We had a table for 10. The front wait staff were engaging and attentive. Our lovely attendant took our orders and even after all the changes, the food and drinks were delivered efficiently and with no problems. Our table ordered from the set menu option, the portions were very filling.
A notable highlight was there were a few ribeye orders and each one was perfectly cooked to medium rare *chefs kiss
The pork ribs were divine as was the fish of the day. A few of us had desserts and were very pleased.

Food was excellent and delicious! I finished it so fast before I even thought of taking a photo. Steak was cooked to absolute perfection. Sticky date pudding & banana split was AMAZING!!
Only critique was my oysters weren’t cold but can’t complain. They were big & fresh!

Had a dinner meal here while spending the night in Taupo. Service was outstanding, venue was warm, clean and spacious. Food was just perfect, and the freakshakes were a real hit! Can’t wait to have another meal here next time we’re in Taupo.

I was very sad about yesterday's meal. The taste of the food changed after the water side changed the chef. Although the waiter tried his best to explain it in an official tone, it was really unpalatable. The most memorable thing is the potted cheesecake was told that there is no cake, mousse and cake are a mixture 🥹. I wonder if the person who made it tasted it himself, is it so greasy?
We were in town for a day and chose this restaurant for dinner based on the special advertised on the board outside and the atmosphere plus lighting inside. We chose the Rump steak and chips for $20 special of the day and the $55 deal for a 3 course meal (selected items only). The food was cooked and presented well and staff were friendly. The only critique is that it felt like we waited a long time for the food, but it was worth it.

Had a Chocolate, Caramel and Fudge, they were delicious, quite a bit to get through, definately do not need anything else to go with them they are a meal unto themselves...

Been here before last time when I went to Taupo. Their steak here is very good. We also tried their mussel with creamy bacon sauce which. The cream was slightly sweet and with the bacon savoury bits, pairs very well with the mussels and was a great entree. It is a shame that road work and constructions is making people not able to see this place easily. Service was also good here.
