Nice food and prompt service. A very busy eaterie at lunch time on a Saturday. I sat outside which was a bit quieter and gave a bit more room than indoors. The outdoor heaters helped. Space between tables inside is a bit limited making it feel a bit cramped and there's not much room to get past the queue waiting for service as you go to leave. Otherwise it has a nice atmosphere.

This is a find! I thought Google maps was directing us to the gas station but to my surprise we found this amazing French cafe. I wanted a croissant for breakfast and assumed we would head into town as usual. But the range of pastries and other gorgeous fare outcompetes most places in the cbd. It's busy with a great vibe. The locals know this place is a winner.

Beautiful cafe. Coffee was spot on, on par with the best I've tried in Melbourne. I had the pancakes & they were perfect! The pink macaroons were a lovely touch. Probably the best selection of cabinet food I have seen in NZ & pricing spot on. Thanks Team!

First stop here and what a find. Fantastic atmosphere, daily newspapers, various indoor / outdoor seating options and great food and coffee. I had the venison pie which was delicious and somehow refrained from the sweet choices. Highly recommended.

Mmm…..if I was into sweet and pastry….but caesar it was. For how busy they were, they did well. But someone, please re-design yr Caesar. It’s certainly not a classic. Do a google search even- I don’t think in any of the first 50 images, any of them had tomatoes. But they do have croutons. And cos leaves 200mm long, is just annoying. And don’t cut the bacon so small- 11 pea size shrapnel bits of bacon- that’s one sure fire way to feel ripped off! You got a great establishment. Just small tweaks 😉

Great location for a treat on the way out of Taupo. A variety of everything, coffee is very nice and fast for takeaway when it is busy. Croissants are delicious but we didn't like the almond one, it was so sweet we didn't finish it. Other food from the cabinet that we tried is nice. Will be back again when we are around.

Absolutely beautiful array of cabinet food and my husband ordered the Eggs Bennie with bacon and a side of creamy mushrooms and said it was the best he’s had! Staff were lovely. Will definitely be a must stop place for us when passing through Taupō!

The best coffee and the best snacks. The lamb Pattie on my organic burger was excellent. Hard to get a seat in such a popular cafe but absolutely worth the wait.

A huge selection of the most amazing food. Gluten free is well catered for. If you’re really hungry, I highly recommend the big breakfast. The biggest selection on one plate ever.

Our group of 9 had a quick stop on the way to Berm Buster. Ordered off the menu and received our order quickly. The eggs bene was delicious and the rest of the group enjoyed their meals just as much as I did. Will definitely stop here again 😃

The food is some of the best in Taupo, the bread is second to none and we thoroughly enjoy eating here. The only downside is the location, there's never parking because it's so damned good.

Great place to stop for Kai. Really good range of gluten and dairy free options, that taste amazing had a nice texture and weren't dry. Definitely stopping in on my next journey north.

This is an absolute favourite! Fabulous range of delicious food and great coffee. The staff are always really lovely (tho I don't like being called "Love"...it feels patronizing.)

Another of a great selection of cafes in Taupo. The food is great, both cabinet and kitchen offerings. Caters for those with keto and gluten-free requirements as well. A nice selection of sweet and savory options. I had the almond croissant. I noticed the fries at another table looked hand cut and definitely something I'd consider on another visit. I've seen the soup offering before, and you'd be happy to have it as your meal for the day. The coffee is also great! The toilets are clean and there's free chilled filtered water on tap. On a par with Kefi if you're familiar with that cafe, but different offerings. Good parking, right on site with Z service station next to Mitre 10. Closed at 3.30pm on Sunday.
