After a fishing trip we brought our trout here to be cooked and had a great meal! The cider and alcoholic ginger beer were very nice. Be sure to check out the fun trout species pictures in the stairwell on the way up!

There is cute trout goodie shop on first floor and second floor is pub.
Foods are simple but so yummy ! But not sure about ice cream 🥲

wow, this place has the best potato fries i have ever had in my life! soo good! the cheeseburger was also excellent. great selection of delicious beer, neat atmosphere, a deck to sit on and enjoy the sun and the view. young girl at the bar were friendly and welcoming. I'm definitely coming back agai
Upstairs and a little hidden away, but it’s a gem of a place. I love trying beers so this was magic to find. I got a tasting paddle and I would have been there all day if I could have because I didn’t touch the sides on what beer they had on offer. We also got some food. The beer bread, the beer cak
Super cozy brewery with a great selection of ciders, beers, wines and cocktails. Enjoy the tasting rack on the sunny rooftop terrace, watched the sunset while enjoying a lush home-made chocolate cake after a delightful schnitzel!
Best pizza and beer in town. I highly recommend this place. The spot is amazing, very unique, and the service is excellent.
What a nice and cosy brewery. We enjoyed our visit and of course the good beer. The porter is nice. From my opinion/ taste Weizenbier (Wheatbeer) and DoppelBock need a more characteristic flavour. There is more "room for taste improvement". But this is commenting critically on a very high level. 😉
Lovely inviting atmosphere, warm cozy fire, great friendly hospitality, wonderful meals and fantastic mulled wine! Made our group feel very welcomed and as if we had just come off a day on the ski slopes to enjoy a wonderful winters night. 👍
Pleasant Austrian themed pub / brewery with delicious food / beer and great decor. The Schnitzel plate was fantastic and the sauerkraut that accompanies it was spot on. The dark ale and Austrian lager were tasty as well. Pizza was well prepared but not to our taste.

Had a 9 tasting paddle. Ales/lagers/stouts are very nice. 13.5% lager is a nice drop. Well worth the money and definitely the nicest brews in Taupo. Will definitely be coming back if I’m in Taupo again.
Phenomenal place. Wonderful place to stop for a beer, a tasting rack and amazing schnitzel. The restaurant is quirky and cool, staff is attentive, knowledgeable and awesome, beer is well done, and food is incredible. We ate two schnitzels and all our fries and had to talk ourselves out of ordering
Very cool spot lots to see, awesome balcony outside. Food is amazing and fast service. Family friendly! Cute gift shop down stairs. Unique experience this is a must do in Taupo!
An unassuming and cozy little brew-pub that I almost missed while walking down the street. The beers were fresh and good. While I didnt eat anything here I did like the Austrian themed vibe and relaxed atmosphere with a nice little view of Taupo life.
Worth going to in Taupo: great selection of craft beer, good food, great service
Beer was pretty good and the flights are large so can't complain there. Easy stop for a beer when making a pit stop. Some good options for different taste buds too.
Crunchy and delicious pizza, which was customised to our needs. Tasty Smoke ginger beer. Warm and friendly service. Entertaining conversation with owner. Little Austrian place in New Zealand.
