Good place to have breakfast and will be going back to try dinner. We ordered salmon w avocado eggs bene on potato rosti with smoothies. Good service - order at counter after being seated. Friendly staff and nice and cozy after a very cold Taupo day!
The views here are absolutely gorgeous! Over looking the boardwalk on the lake with the mountains!
Staff were very friendly, our food came out very quickly.
There were a few vegetarian options on the menu. The veggie burger was good!
What a hidden treasure this place is. On the lakefront, plenty of space and great decor. But the best thing is the healthy, delicious and inexpensive meals and drinks. Jane was awesome, good service, attentive. You need to try it out! Will definitely be back soon.
Had a great breakfast at Taste! My husband and I ordered modified breakfasts and they were very willing to accommodate. Service was quick and attentive and everything was delicious! Had a beautiful dining experience with lake views, would definitely go back!
I had the French toast with banana and bacon. Was delicious and cooked perfectly with crispy bacon. I also had a Vegan Pinacolada smoothie which also did not disappoint. Went for breakfast! Had egg on toast, tomato and chives soup and custard slice. A bit pricey, the egg was pure fried with no seasoning :( hash browns were $3 each. Otherwise the food was ok, loved the custard slice. The ladies were really friendly though :)
Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and view of the lake with a large outdoor patio good in the summer & winter. Large menu selection to choose from!
The BEST Eggs Benny Ive had ever for breakfast, liked if so much bought friends back for Dinner, the chicken salad was equally awesome.

Very nice Café ☕ and service. My salmon was amazing the skin crisp was super good. The girls were super attentive and smiling 😊 they show they care. Super positive experience. Thank you for the hard work.
Was such a great breakfast experience. Lovely welcoming staff and scrummy yummy food. Little bit expensive but def worth it

Had a great lunch experience with family including two kids. The sandwich is crispy, tasty and well built. Kids love the toast. Will definitely visit again.
