We went there for the Sunday roasted buffet. A small selection of foods, but tasted good, especially the meat. Normally the meat in the buffet are always dry and overcooked, but their chicken, pork and lamb are all very juicy and moist. $45 is a very reasonable price
Terrific meal at Sunday's Surf n' Turf buffet. Beautiful facility, excellent service, many food choices - tasty and fresh, some hot off the grill, desserts, fruit and salad. All you can eat. Delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend it.
Great restaurant with amazing food and service!
Fantastic restaurant. I took my wife there for her birthday and it was lovely. Live ambient music from a very talented musician. The wait staff very discrete but acutely aware of our tables needs and cleared plates instantly when we indicated we had finished (well dobe) The food was devine and the portion size was just right. Wine was excellent and well priced. Lastly the restaurant staff surprised my wife with a lovely birthday desert dish that was on the house. We left very satisfied and will certainly return. A+++++ all the way.
The Pavillion restaurant was lovely however it was quite busy on the evening that we went; resulting in our food taking roughly half an hour to arrive. The staff were amazing however and made the experience a good one! Will be back next time we are in Taupo!
Amazing service. We enjoyed the New Orleans Buffet. The buffet area itself is quite small. But the food was good and came out constantly. My biggest rave is about the staff.
Been here twice now while staying in the resort for work. Impeccable service and the food is amazing. Baked Alaska with the berry compote is to die for. If they could give me a bowl of berry compote I'd happily eat it by itself.
The waiter I had the first time here was really lovely I'm unsure of his name but he did a great service.
The lady I currently have (she's got glasses) 100/100 for service and lovely personality

We shared a lovely meal at Pavilion while staying in Taupō. We’ve ended up going twice in a day we enjoyed it so. Thanks for the lovely food and friendly service.

Such amazing and helpful staff: nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them from the management all the way through the ranks.
No better setting in Taupo in our opinion; thats why we keep returning.

Took advantage of their first table promotion and the food was absolutely excellent. My partner is vegan and they also had plenty of options to cater for her. Would highly recommend.
We had a stunning meal the chicken breast was so moist and so well cooked followed by the chocolate sauce pudding. Would recommend will be back.
Awesome we are locals but this restaurant and service was outstanding. Excellent in every way. Taupo would have to rate this as one of the best.
