This is Tauranga good but not the best I have seen. Always consistant, people seem to like this place because of its ambience. They bake a fresh selection of breads and have a huge variety of cabinet food. The panini's are around $10 each which for what you pay is a bit underwhelming as quite petite servings. You come to this place for desserts. They are known for their extremely dark and fudgy brownie. Did not disappoint, very decadent. Personal favourite is the caramel macadamis slice - has some crystalised ginger in it which is delicous! Great little catch up spot.

Lovely cafe with friendly service. Coffee wasn't bad, and a decent size for $4.50. We had the frittata and the salmon panini. Will be back to try the sweet treats!
Nice cafe for coffee & a bite to eat. Lots of items made fresh daily. Seating inside & out & plenty of papers to read.
Service was good. Coffee well made, not bitter or weak.
Absolutely a must visit in Tauranga , great deserts, amazing taste. everything looks yummy, wanna try each of them. Will come and enjoy some sweet treat regularly.
Best little cafe I have ever been too!! Reasonably priced food. So fresh and delicious. Always looking forward to eating here!! Five stars from me!! 😀
Was recommended this cafe by the Gluten Free shop next door and so glad I came in! Â The food looks incredible, so fresh and colourful and it makes you happy just looking at it. Â They had about four sweet options that were gluten free as well as a delicious quinoa salad on the day I went. Â Not as many gf savoury choices though. My chai latte was delicious. Â But overall I thought it was an amazing cafe and I would love to go back if I was in Tauranga again.
Love Rosie is one of the best cafes in Tauranga in my opinion. The staff are very nice, and the food is amazing. It is always very busy here, which can be annoying because you either have to sit outside or take your food home. But apart from that I love it.
5stars!!! Love it been meaning to try this place every time I'm down but I keep forgetting finally I made my way and got the most amazing salmon wholemeal lunch and a carrot cake yumm what a treat I will be back next time and look forward to trying some more food the salted caramel afghans looked AMZING
Best bakery in Tauranga, no wait...The Bay of Plenty!!!!! Llooooovvvveee love Rosie! Especially the pesto, potato scones and smoked salmon sandwich, oh and the egg mayonnaise sandwich.....etc..x
Very nice food. I was recommended to go there and try out the custard squares. I would have to say that all the food that I purchased there was delicious. I took my food away and unfortunately the heavier food was placed on the custard square which was all squished when I opened it up to eat but it still tasted great. That would be my only gripe.
All in all though, fantastic vibe there and will definitely return. Haven't had nicer food from a bakery/cafe in a very long time. Ups to you Love Rosie and keep up the great work :)
This place is awesome. Fairly new with a great vibe 'somewhere between hipster and housewife' is how I read a blogger describe it, that is the perfect description! Beautiful food that looks like it has been made with lots of love and pride. Only downside is that it gets very noisy when it is full.
Scones were the tastiest ever thanks, hot and perfect butter.
Very friendly staff. Good range of yummy looking food. Coffee was amazing. Nice to be able to sit inside but with windows open still get the outside breeze. Would recommend.
Delicious pastries, a must go when you are around the neighborhood. The custard cake, amaretti (my favorite), and the cinnamon rolls are all so so good. The place is cute, neat and very organized. When dine in or takeaways, the cashier staff handed you a plastic animal figurine to recognize you with your orders. I feel this system was so helpful and cute in some way. Very spacious between tables and a big middle table, there were also outdoor seatings right in front of the bakery and on the side.
A quiet, off the main road, cafe.
Worth a visit.
Great service and a great atmosphere.
Their portuguese tarts are amazing! And so are their jam filled lamingtons. Their harissa chicken bagels were mouthwatering to say the least. Their service was quick and friendly and their decor was light, airy, modern and beautiful. Such a good place to go with a couple girlfriends for a bite to eat and a decent warm drink. Was busy (sign of popularity ;) ) but easily managed to find a seat. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would absolutely suggest it to anyone passing through tauranga. A must! Well done love Rosie's bakery!
A real gem.
Fresh tasty food.
Great service.
Easy parking.
Outdoor seating.
Complimentary newspaper.
I was on my way back to Auckland and came in for a quick break. Great selections of goodies. Good coffee, good food and friendly staff.
Wow - came here at 10:30 on a Monday morning and couldn’t believe how busy it was. What a gem of a place - the coffee is great and the food outstanding. I had a scone and a slice and both were cooked to perfection and great tasting. Will definitely come back....
Great coffee with a huge selection of food and sweets. Soy flat white was great. I like the Gruffin filled with passion fruit. Highly recommended place
Amazing cabinet food and excellent coffee. The service is super friendly and attentive too. A cute atmosphere that’s often busy (in a good way). One of the best cafes in Tauranga.
So many options and all looked yummy! Afghans, macadamia slice and savory scone were all five star.
Excellent selection of delicious food and beautiful coffee. Friendly service
An inner city cafe with an industrial chic. (Could also be called "fashionably shabby".)
Cabinet food only, but a great range of this. Albeit slightly pricey.
Not suitable for wheelchairs (access into the building is OK, but table design means chairs can't fit underneath.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
It was busy. Food options seemed limited for some dietary preferences. They ran out of mugs, not sure that we got value from the glass the coffee came in. It has an informal vibe which seems popular nowadays. Nothing bad I can say about it.
Wonderful little bakery restaurant. Good sandwiches, great croissants and coffee. Update: Just returned in March '18, still wonderful coffee and fabulous croissants, and now they sell loaves of bread that look very good.
Friendly staff, good coffee and great food!
Was lovely going there today, although busy they still managed to get our food out at a reasonable time and still apologised for the barely long wait. Super friendly staff and great coffee excited they have flavoured syrups now, so was the girl serving me!
