Great little bay and restaurant. I recognised the owner from a bar in the city. He is still hands on and runs a very tight ship. Great food, good selection of drinks. We went there with Nana in a wheelchair and nothing was a bother. Great experience. Will def go back
First time there. Absolutely loved the food! From the moist chicken burger to the dessert, everything was A++ Made to feel welcome when we arrived plus the wait staff were on point. Would definitely recommend to try this place out if you haven't already.
Great service. A really friendly vibe. The salads are so good. Would come back for that! Though we feel the calamari is lack of flavor, and flat bread is slightly hard.
Just had some snacks before dinner. Food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Children friendly, my daughter got the colourful pencils and paper to do the colours.

Every time I come here owner is a complete gentleman. I mistakingly placed an order for the wrong day and waited for it to be delivered. Went in to discuss and I was made aware of what happened, he then shouted me a beer and a bottle of cider for the hoha partner at home while I waited for the food.
Great place to pop into for a bite to eat. Pizza's looked good, but my steak was so tasty.

The "Good Local" certainly lives up to its name and doesn't disappoint! Great food with a great selection of beverages to match and with the polite, happy and knowledgeable staff, it makes for an awesome place to dine! Well done to the staff at The Good Local! Will be back again!

Amazing food, coupled with great service and place to sit, chill and enjoy the company you are with. We really enjoyed the i guess patio area as the sun was out and really added to the enjoyable experience we had there.

Update 2021 - Always great food at the Local and the host is just so friendly as are the rest of the staff. Try the rosti stack! Amazing! - 2019 -Great Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Meat was tender, capsicum and onion cooked just right. Very tasty. Won't be using your fingers for this one though.
