Absolutely superb! One of the best spots that offers an extraordinary fine dining experience with stunning views. The staff's service is exceptional! I reserved a birthday lunch for my wife, and they surprised us with a complimentary dessert beautifully decorated with a candle. We'll be going back for sure. An easy 5 out of 5!
A wet night but still a great place to go. Could no fault the food or the service, exceptional waitress.
Their food was so great.
The fried squid was the next level that I've had ever before.
Also, miso glazed salmon was good, too.
Besides food, I like the ocean view tables and staff. They were so kind.
I highly recommend this restaurant and I'll definitely visit again.

Food was amazing! Went here for my girlfriend's 21st birthday. We got the venison and the chicken breast for dinner and it was the highlight meal of our New Zealand trip. Staff were friendly to talk to and the view of the harbour - even though it was raining - was an amazing addition to the atmosphere in the store. The prices were extremely reasonable and overall it was a great stop.
Was amazing experience loved the view đ and great food highly recommended.
Great service đ ka pai
Great relaxing atmosphere and view, lovely attentive staff and hosts, parking will improve when the road works are finished, food outstanding, perhaps a few more vegetarian options. Overall a lovely place for any occasion.
What a fantastic experience that Harbourside provide - location, atmosphere, exquisite food and friendly staff. The food was presented beautifully and was packed full of flavour. Especially enjoyed the tenderness of the carpaccio with the subtlety of the horse radish and the venison main meal in a to-die-for cherry jus that went through multiple iterations of plate scraping
Absolutely delicious dinner. Great atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Venison and Keylime pie pictured.
A wonderful venue in a very quaint position. Wonderfully appetising menu. Very genuine and attentive staff. A cold raining day, warmed up with a blanket for the wife.. and great food and wine. Empty plates tell my story.. (this is the last mouthful to go) A must do, in Tauranga.
4.5 Stars out of 5
For a dinner in Winter it was still a romantic place to be at. We had a window view which in summer the sides wound up so you could fully enjoy the view. We were kept warm with indoor heaters. The table service was friendly and attentive. The food delicious - we had the Seafood Chowder for entree, my husband had the Eye Fillet steak cooked to Medium - Rare and I had the Salmon which had crispy skin and a nice pink centre. We both were so full from our mains that we didnât get to have any dessert but the dessert menu looked delicious. Definitely would like to visit again.
First time eating here and wow what a great place. Food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and fun. It's a must.
Service exceptional from front of house staff to our waiter. The Lamb rack was amazing and feedback from our party was the Fish and Chips are second to none. Amazing views and great atmosphere. Perfect for a business lunch or that extra brownie points taking out your partner. Spend per person based on mains, drink and a lovely desert.
Looking for a romantic dinner place? This is it. This restaurant sits on the harbour as mentioned in its name. My husband and I came here just when the sun was setting so the ambience was perfect. We ordered ourselves a couple of bubblies and they were delicious. Quite extensive drink menu I would say. The food was good but not out of this world. We ordered the beer battered fish and chips and the 4 seafood appetizer platter. All except the tuna that came with the platter was good. The tuna sashimi wasnât fresh for sure. It felt like it was not only defrosted but that it wasnât done properly because I can taste the water in the fish. Still giving this place 4 stars because everything else was lovely. The view, the service, the speed of the food coming out from the kitchen⊠definitely would come back here again; just not for the tuna.
100% perfect, (although not a busy night), but seriously It was very enjoyable, and our waitress Kelsey was simply so pleasant and a delight to have her serve our table, Thanks for your pleasant and fun manor. I had the duck, thanks chief It was delightful.

A relaxing waterfront setting with beautiful ambience. Meals are divine, staff are exceptional, the entire experience was utterly delightful. I would have taken photos of the food but I was too busy eating it!
Excellent food, great service and lovely atmosphere. The only thing that let it down was it was a wet and wild night and the plastic screening on the outside covered deck is knackered and draughty. It was chilly and very damp. The outside area could do with some love. The entrees were perfectly nice but didnât wow like the mains. The kimchi on the beef carpaccio was a little overpowering and the avocado mousse with the salmon was a mere whisper. That said the Favourite Husband loved them both and definitely ate more than his designated half. Fear not, I did mention it to him. He had the venison main which was fabulous. I had the eye fillet which was beautifully tender but just a little overdone. Still a special place for a treat.
Excellent location, it's great fun to look across the water whether at night or day. Provides a pleasant atmosphere.
The staff are also very helpful and provide good service. Nothing short of five stars.
However, for the price, while the food was undoubtedly good I would hope that it would pass the line into excellence.
I highly recommend the truffled mushrooms - easily the best part of the meal.
I booked at 11:30am, we were the first guest there. We had great view table, good service and yummy foods. They forgot salad side, but not affect we back again.
