It never disappoints me. I have been going now for 7 year same date every yearand always enjoy the food.
Birthday dinner on a Wednesday and the birthday girl liked it as did we all. Interesting menu with good sized portions for Starters and Mains. Piggies that we were we also had Dessert too. All went away very satisfied with the meal and service. Expect $$$$ though. Recommend.

We had the takeaway tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tasting platter, Seafood chowder, Eye fillet, Chicken breast and Mushroom risotto - all beautifully cooked and very generous portions - enough left over for lunch tomorrow. Well done the Mount Bistro team - we'll be back. D & D
Delicious and well crafted meal, especially the 'Sword and Saucery' specialty dish, (seafood flamed on a skewer), and the dessert platter. Great service too from the Irish brothers who were our wait staff, attentive and genuinely hospitable. A very pleasant evening all round.
Wonderful restaurant. Loved our meals and service was fantastic. Especially recommend the eye fillet and rib. Most of the menu is GF as well so great for those with Gluten allergies. Would definitely go again

Recently a group of family and friends had a yummmmy meal there. Highlights included the Sword and surf - prawns, salmon, and fish flambed at the table and oh so tasty. Nice food and good service. Not a fan of seafood and there is a lot on the menu but the eye fillet was beautiful. Well cooked and beautiful flavours
After an average start, glad to say got way better. Excellent wine list & food was fantastic. Will be back.
Went here for dinner whilst on holiday in NZ we had the seafood platter for two with some local wine, the food was amazing and the portions were just as impressive, i would highly recommend it to anyone who has a chance to dine here.
