Return visit Aug 2023 - passing through town and only wanted tea & coffee, but stayed for two each of those and two more lovely meals. The first mouthful made me cry with delight, it's like being back in France. If they had rooms upstairs, we would never leave!

Omg im so gutted i didnt take a photo of my food! Eventhough i ordered a soup of the day, which was lentil/spinach/carrot, it was sooo wholesomely delicious - it really hit the spot as it was a cold windy day! The staff were absolutely lovely and the atmosphere of the cafe was very cosy and simple. Definitely recommend coming here 👌🏼
Had lunch at Otto, was delicious.
The hand cut fries were great, the burger was amazing but the brisket could have been a little warmer.
Would love to bring my hubby here and sample more of the menu.
We really liked this cafe. Service, food and coffee were excellent. The slow cooked pork breakfast was superb as was the prawn omelette. Nice little peep at the harbour and outside seating for warmer weather.
THE place to go in Tauranga. Great menu, awesome staff and service. This is the only place you need to visit for brunch. We detoured to make this stop and every time we've been in we have never been disappointed. Consistently delicious food! Try the patè - you'll be glad you did! I ordered the ploughman's platter and patè, wifey got food envy even though her pulled lambl was amazing ... oh well - next time!

Cosy atmosphere in a narrow space, plenty of time allowed for selecting our meals, from a great list of Tapas and mains. Our group of 8 all enjoyed the food which catered for large and small appetites of our diners The croquettes and empanadas were packed full of flavour. The desserts were the perfect ending to our lovely meal.

Front of house service was exceptional. Friendly, kind and helpful ladies. Highly recommend 👌 The food was tasty and so well priced, tomato juice was presented like nothing I have had before and delicious. One of the best Cafes I have had the pleasure of visiting.

Came here with a few friends for a quick lunch. The service was prompt and friendly but the place was quite empty when we were there. I ended up ordering the beef brisket burger and a flat white. (Backdrop of photo shows the eggs benedict). All in all, really good spot on the harbour-side that I plan to come back to.
Oscar & Otto's is the perfect slice of NZ for anyone visiting - extremely friendly staff, great food, and warm atmosphere.

Wow. Amazing! Ordered the bacon & egg toastie with extra sausage and was not let down. The food is astonishing and was a contributor to us returning for another breakfast.
The staff are wonderful, and very easy to talk to (even when you ask for scrambled eggs well done accidentally🤦🏻♀️!). The restaurant is clean and the toilets are too.
It was around $50 for two breakfasts, extras and coffees which we think is an absolute bargain for the quality of food and staff that are here. Thank you!
Enjoyed a team breakfast here. Coffees served first and breakfast on time with all orders correct. Excellent table service, lovely clean new environment. Food was tasty! Highly recommended.
