The supreme pie winner of 2023 lived up to the hype! Absolute flavour bomb, the duck was of high quality and caramelized onion and creamy mushroom complimented the duck well. Personally would have preferred it without cheese but over all it was worthy of the award. They have a amazing array of pies nirvana for any pie lover

Good quality pies. My kids liked them so much, we went 2 days in a row. Not cheap, but worth it.

Since we were in town and driving past, thought to try out the 2023 supreme pie ($8.50). We grabbed the roast duck pie and a mussel pie. Both pies were decent but the roast duck pie was missing some filling, mainly protein. The cheese gravy inside was delicious though. Certainly a nice place to stop by if you’re in town or nearby.

Popped into Patrick's Pies today, I quite often call in there for one of their many flavoured pies they're famous for whilst in the Bethlehem shopping centre area. It was filled roll & ginger crunch day. 😋 I decided on chicken + avacado, very tasty & the crunch was devine! The service was great, the shop was clean & tidy. Quite a few customers grabbing a bite to eat right on lunchtime. Patrick's pies are renowned for winning the supreme gold pie awards over many years! Highly recommend trying one of their pies 🥧 👌

We actually found this place by accident when we stopped here to find a quick snack for our family. Whilst looking for parking, we noticed this pie place because they proudly displayed their awards in front. Winner of the best pies for many years! My wife already ate, so she said I could pick the pies and she'll just have a few bites. As soon as we walked in, we saw a large display of the different pies they had. I picked two of their award-winning ones. Their famous mussel pie and I can't remember the other one because the mussel pie was too good. This is coming from someone that doesn't like seafood! Filling creamy and seasoned well, with delicious mussels. The pastry was pretty good too, but not as flaky as we liked. Also, I found them a little stingy with the filling. In saying that, they were the best pies we had in NZ and wish we could try more of their pies.

Gold Stars Indeed! They are not just Goldstar Bakery but also Goldstar Staff. We had bacon & egg and mince pie and duck pie. The pies were so tasty and crisp. We were too enjoyed and left our backpack at the bakery. A kind and honest customer handed the valuable backpack to the bakery. A Gold heart staff Nan helped us to courier the backpack to our home. With Nan's kindness help, we have avoided so many hassles. Many Thanks Nan and the customer. Really appreciated indeed! James and Jessica

Prepare to be captivated by the award-winning pie emporium that flawlessly upholds its esteemed standing. From the moment I entered the store, I was greeted by an irresistible aroma of freshly baked pies, foreshadowing the delightful journey that lay ahead. Without a doubt, the recognition they receive for these irresistible pies is thoroughly justified. It brings us immense joy and pride to witness the remarkable success of our cherished neighborhood pie shop.

Midweek late lunch so next to no cue (unlike when I've previously been there midday Saturday when it's very busy) an large range of award winning hot pies still a good selection even though it was later. A good range of cold soft drinks choose from to wash down the pie. Other baked goods available but I did have any, just a great mince pie and bottle of drink!

Awards everywhere! Before you get in you see banners hanging across the giant panes of windows. Take a step inside and you see a huge collection of awards; you can tell this dude Patrick is the real deal. Wasn't too busy but the staff was somewhat friendly? No small talk or anything not even a hello just the transaction and a thank you. I tried their supreme awarded sausage rolls and their chicken wings. The chicken was a bit of a greesy mess and it didn't have a lot of flavour. I ended up just caking it in tomato sauce. Wouldn't recommend the fried foods. The sausage roll was good. The pastry is what I think won it the award. Very nice, wouldn't drive all the way from Hamilton to try it but it's definitely worth a visit when you're by the Tauranga.

Patrick's pies reputation proceeds it, and despite all the hype, does not disappoint at all. Vegetarian pies are delicious! Highly recommended and will be back again when in town.

This shop is well known for its award winning champion of pies; but not only. The food and food was delicious. The shop is small, but there were no complaints of the quew lining well into the footpath outside.

With their latest Supreme Pie Awards we just had to sample the Roast Duck pie, so drove from the CBD for a morning tea snack. Not my favourite, but it was pretty tasty for sure. Congratulations to all involved with yet another haul of prizes.
