Had a big order on the last Friday of August. We ordered online and the experience was quick and easy. Despite it being a Friday night, the food was made on time and was very delicious - the whole party agreed! The staff were friendly and kind.
Every trip to Papamoa has always included a meal at Taste of Turkish! The owner, Salih, established this restaurant roughly two decades ago. He's an incredibly amicable individual who takes great pleasure in serving and observing his patrons thoroughly enjoying their meals.
The excellence, flavors, and fragrances of the assorted Lamb, Chicken, and Falafel dishes are exceptional. The side dishes (salads and sauces) are equally as crisp. Moreover, their French fries and wedges are unparalleled in the area. And you absolutely mustn't overlook their Turkish Coffee!

Our favourite local Turkish. Always call up ahead to order take aways as they can be busy. Only had one issue of them giving away our order to someone else so had to wait an extra 20 mins, however it is worth waiting for. Pizzas are exceptional!
This place grabbed my attention as I was walking past, with its delightful aroma. Delicious food, generous portions. Onion rings were crisp, tasty and not greasy at all. Lamb and Chicken dishes were tasty. Mixed Veg kebab was a good balance of salad, protein and sauce. We ordered online and it was ready on time. This place is worth a visit.
Very clean and tidy place. The food is very yummy. I had a chicken on rice with salads and it was just to my taste. The chicken was nicely spiced, juicy and not over salted which invited all other flavors in a good balance. The meal was served in a generous portion.
Definitely will dine in again.

My favourite Turkish spot on all of Tauranga. Staff are always kind and helpful, service is quick and the food is delicious every time.
Wow the food is so good. Try the rice with lamb mixed one. Order small...but the portion was so big for us. It was delicious. The salad was fresh n the meat was tasty. The left overs that we bought back was eaten the next day n my teenage boys really like it too!
The service was fast n the people are really nice. While we are eating, the phone orders n people coming was non stop. Will definitely come back with the boys next time we are there.
Always lovely fresh ingredients and great value for money. Clean store and friendly staff. Whenever we go to the mount we enjoy a meal and have never been dissapointed yet
Dude who owns it is always a good yarn and provides no doubt the best Turkish in the area. Been there so many times and it’s always absolutely banging can’t recommend enough
