What a unique place! Great vibe, staff are cool. The place was clean and tidy, pushchair and kid friendly. Delicious ice cream, huge selection of beer and a heap of different food truck style vendors. Looks like they were setting up live music when I was there which would have been awesome! Fantastic when you just want a bowl of noodles or a plate of dumplings but don't feel like splashing out $80 at a restaurant. Super happy place, great vibe, cheap but awesome street food, and the bar has some of the best beer selections you'll see anywhere.
Awesome place to catch up with friends. Good food and drink selection and surroundings warm thanks to heaters and blankets provided. We were there Thursday night 6 - 9. Live music added to enjoyment.
Great place to hang out. All the businesses are in fully modified containers (as in ship) Its an outside venue only. Various shops for food and beer to choose from, Johney’s Dumpling House has happy hour. Live music... right in the centre of town. Very close to the Strand ( a strip of bars, restaurants and cafes on the harbour waterfront - great views). It's located next to the library and bus stop.

It's clean, kid friendly, great food and drinks... Haven't been there during shopping hours, but the shops look quirky and individual... Give it it a go.. you might get a pleasant surprise!
Great range of beer from Mount Brewing Co and the best dumplings from Johnny's Dumplings. Also a great range of other food and plenty of seating. Great place for an after work beer!
Really cool spot in downtown Tauranga. Perfect place to meet up for a meal and a drink.
As one of “the older generation” I have to say that Our Place has been worth the wait. Its handy (especially for us ‘plebs’ who catch buses or book lovers who frequent the library) accessible, funky and lively. Of course I’m a bit biased as there’s also a family connection for me, but hey go check it out.....great eats, refreshing drinks, relaxing atmosphere to “take the weight off the feet”...... so come on my generation this place is all of ours....Be there or (as we used to say) be “square!”
Funky little place in a central location.
During the day, there are some boutiquie little shops. By night, they serve an excelent range of craft beer (and other beverages) in addition to food from about half a dozen separate food outlets.
The dining areas are shared by the bar, and all the food outlets, making it a great place for groups who can never agree on what to eat.
I found it a little pricey, but there were cheaper options available that I could have gone for.
Being open topped, it's definitely more suited to clear skys, and summer nights. That being said, there is some cover for when it rains.
Very cool environment, everything seems to be recycled and they seem very adimant on their eco friendly waste free environment which is good. One thing that would make it even better is a fully vegan eatery. It's a bit odd that they have full on meat stores there yet are trying to be environmentally friendly.
Very different with lots of food choices plus beer and coffee. A few places you can buy other things. A vegetarian and vegan stall available and the fried cauliflower is yummy.
Love this place. So relaxed and yummy food. It's just a little bit different. Great for families. I love the long tables that help you to make new friends!!
Perfect place for a mid-week work lunch or something lazy on the weekend. Huge range of beer on tap and small pop up food outlets to choose from; Japanese, Mexican, etc.
That was incredible seeing a totally new use of containers as a group of shops n a created meeting area as well... I hear it may be closed n b turned into new building early next year possibly.
We go here often because it's such a fantastic spot. Not overcrowded and the food and ice cream and second hand boutiques, live music , kids games and and and....best thing that ever happened go the Strand!
There is a great variety of food there is nice seating and it’s close to most things, the live music really ties the whole place together
