Ordered the tomato egg noodle soup (not pictured) and boiled pork cabbage dumplings. They were nourishing and so tasty! Very authentic Chinese food and lovely owners.
I would definitely return when I’m back in Tauranga again.
From Sydney on a visit and this is one of the best Chinese I've had in a while. The fish fillets in chilli oil is unbelievably good! Must try.
Good food. The soup is a little salty for me.
I guess because it’s popular, the clerk is busy, making customers have to wait for a minute.
Overall, it’s a good restaurant for me.
What a great place, Awesome food, great atmosphere. Friendly people.
I'll definitely come back. Your Awesome 😎
Felt safe entering the restaurant, you will be asked to produce your vaccine pass for scanning. Awesome customer service.
The waiting time is reasonable considering they have to make 16 dumplings. They came out good and boy did they taste great. I dined out in the open, it was a warm atmosphere and I enjoyed the overall dining experience. A++
Go here every week, have never been disappointed by the food. Large portions and not expensive, good for large groups and many many food options on the menu. Personal favourites include: beef brisket noodle soup, chicken wings, pickled cabbage dumplings.
New dish of grilled blue cod in hotpot is amazing! Yummy dumplings, and we also like the noodles and amazing chilli sauce!
The dumplings (pork, pork delicacy and vegetarian) are amazing. We also ordered the beef brisket noodles, which was great and the di san xian, which was amazing. Would highly recommend, one of the better, more authentic Chinese restaurants in Tauranga.
Visited at 3pm on the weekend and greeted by very helpful staff members. We ordered the pork dumplings, steamed and fried (half portion of each), garlic stir fried vegetables, and crispy pork belly. Food is fresh and generous in portion. Will be back.
Funny old business.
A lot of yelling!
Still, food was excellent - I think they've just got a liquor license.
Typical Chinese, you wouldn't take a first date there. Zero atmosphere.
As I say though...good food!
Delicious and worth the price! It would be better with more people together sharing the meal as the portion is quite large.
Lovely staff and great food.
We underestimated the portion sizes and over ordered so had some to take home
Straight up the most helpful & kind people. My UberEATS driver failed to collect my order. Never UberEATS again! The lady from Dumpling Delights was ever so helpful when I rang. She offered to get her husband to deliver my meal. I thanked her and chose to pick it up myself. When I got there she apologised profusely, gave me a discount on my meal and offered to give me a free dish. It wasn't even her fault! I really appreciated her kindness and declined. She still sent me off with two large bags of free crackers. Such goodwill shown here. Very rare in today's world. As for the food, authentic and delicious and I'm a tough judge as I've grown up eating a lot of Chinese dishes back in Malaysia 🙏
Food was good! But the spoons forks and tables were sticky.
Menu choices are excellent. Portion is big for the price and taste is good too. The lady boss who served us was friendly and approachable. Worth a try!
Husband and wife family-owned business that you really want to support by dining there multiple times. We ordered stir fried rice noodles, 2 noodle soups, Kung Pao chicken, and pork dumplings. Everything was delicious. Some of our dumplings broke while cooking so the owner brought us a second helping of dumplings for free. Totally not necessary, but extremely appreciated. Their English isn’t the best, but they try hard. TIP: Cash only.
Food was good, we enjoyed Ma Po Tofu, recommend. Friendly staff.
