Absolutely loved this place. I went here very early in the morning as there was nothing much open in the vicinity at 7am. The guys at the till had a big smile and was so welcoming. I had a gourmet panini and coffee with an Argentinian slice. It was super cheap, quality ingredients and lightning fast service. 10/10 for these guys!
This little cafe has really friendly service and great coffee. Everyone loves the scones but my favourite is their cream cheese, pesto and tomato bagel...it’s delicious.
This is my favorite little cafe! The service is always amazing and the food is always good. The cheese scones are the BEST! Really good hot chocolate and coffee too.
This place is AMAZING! If you haven’t heard, they have the BEST SCONES EVER!!!!!
I’ve been in many times and tried their scones and bagels.
They serve Flight Coffee which is a 10/10
The service here is outstanding, all the staff are super friendly.
Best cheese scones around.
After a scientific expedition over four days around the other highly recommended offerings(Pravda, Home, Nikau), can definitely confirm what MANY others have said.
Awesome!
Very nice! Had mocha, friand, scone (grilled and buttered), and a beautiful Vietnamese coffee (dripping into condensed milk...).
Sat in comfee chair, not too loud, good music.
I have been visiting this cafe daily most of the week this week, The coffee is what keeps me coming back, I just LOVE it, Yummo, I thought i'd try their food menu on tuesday, I got a vegetarian panini a chicken cran one and 2 samosas.
The Panini's - Were very tasty, top marks for that, however i thought that they could afford to be a lot more generous with the fillings at $8.50 to $9.00 each, I expected to be much more full than i was.
The Samosas - Excellent! - cannot fault at all and a bargain at 2 for $9.00
I ordered a hot chocolate on Thursday here wasn't fussed with it, could just be me or perhaps i just don't like the choc they use. An acquired taste perhaps?
On Friday there was carrot cake avail so i got a piece. Wow! - to die for.
The staff are soooooo Friendly and warm, all smiles and sunshine,
The cafe is only small but it has a homely feel to it. Sometimes parking can be a bit of an issue - but this is because they are popular and people are always there.
I would highly recommend this cafe to any coffee lover or for those who just like to have a decadent "nana's baking" type treat to indulge in.
I stopped by at lunchtime a couple of days ago to try this little cafe out, I'm not often in the area but have noticed it as I've driven by.
I ordered a salami, blue cheese, pear and caramelised onion panini, but as I was ordering wondered if it would be enough. The panini and the light salad with it were delicious but sure enough I wanted more. I then ordered a spicy empanada to fill the gap, this was also very tasty. The coffee was great, and the service too.
I know this place is very small and that limits the variety of menu options, but there just wasn't enough on each plate to call it a meal, for me it was more of a snack.
I did buy some scones and muffins to try out later, they were, as promised, very good. Especially the cheese scone.
Even though I had to double-order, the cost per quantity of food was about the same as if I'd gone to a fast food takeaway, so they are serving very good food at excellent value for money.
Hi we have just been to el Porteno for my daughters birthday Lisandro did a High Tea for us there were 4 of us, the food was absolutely scrummy it was presented on a 3 tier Cale stand, we had lovely small triangle sandwiches, small muffins, yummy caramel slice and hot small cheese scones with jam and cream, with hot drinks, it was $15.00 per head which I thought very reasonable for the amount of food we were given, it was all presented beautifully. We often go there on a Saturday afternoon for a hot drink and a scone, if it is a nice day we sit outside on the lovely outside furniture they have a great variety of food and I would highly recommend them a visit. Thanks Trisha
Recently changed ownership and is now called El Porteno. Having been previous regulars of Little Boho we were worried because it seems par for the course that when something great changes hands it goes downhill.
However, this has proved to be the exception to the rule. The coffee and hot drinks are still excellent, the food absolutely delicious with some great new additions, everything is reasonably priced and the staff welcoming and friendly. The new owner even continued to honor the coffee cards for Little Boho even though he was obviously under no obligation to.
The only caveat I would put is that it is a small place with seating for maybe twelve (plus a couple of outside tables) so there is a chance when you show up that you may have to grab a takeaway - especially during super busy times on weekend mornings.
Highly recommended.
