Great place for dinner - food was very good. Do yourself a favour and order desert because it's all house made and all great.
We came here mid-afternoon when other places in Te Anau weren’t yet serving. It was during school holidays, so there was a crowd of tourists all wanting service. The server had to keep a hundred balls in the air all at once, but she did a terrific job of it and kept a smile on her face throughout. W
Nice food with generous serving. The seafood chowder was filling on its own. Steak tasted good with nice salad. Worth a try when in Te Anau.
Good burger, my wife said the land fry was very good, but yuck! Good beer selection. Only problem is that they are about the only place open in Te Anau on Monday and Tuesday, so there was about 30 minute wait.

Happy we stopped by. Plan to have a bite. Turned out to be great meals. Wonderful and fascinating flavors. From the mussels, loaded chips, venison, blue cod, lamb shanks, and salmon. With home made cheese cake and pecan pie for finale. Mwah!
The service, amazing!
Had the roast lamb and vegetables and other was very good. They have a wide range of dishes though the lamb offered a good option with the vegetable sides. The lamb was nice and the side vegetables were very good and tasty. Happy to visit again. Overall good value and service.
We arrived on a really busy night with no booking & were advised we could wait at the bar for an hour for a table which we were happy to do. After ordering a drink and waiting ~15 mins we had had a table available to us. Staff were all extremely helpful, attentive and accommodating. Food was delicio
