The food was decent. There is an area with gambling machines (pokies) and an area with darts board. Please note, they don’t have darts behind the bar, it’s normally left at the darts board area. Also they do close quite early around 9pm
We came here for dinner after given recommendations by our hotel manager. Decided to check out their menu. Ordered their signature pork ribs and the the rib eye steak. Also had a local ale to go with it. The ribs were nicely done, soft and well marinated. The sauce that goes with it was a bit sweet
Came in there for dinner with my friends after a long day at Doubtful Sound.
We got burgers and steaks.
We all really enjoyed the food and my steak was cooked to perfection (medium) with a good serving of fries and peppercorn sauce.

Awesome family run restaurant and bar. Food was delicious and prices fair. Relaxed, friendly, efficient service. Our group preordered food earlier in the day due to time constraints and the kitchen held up their emd beautifully - food on tables within 2 minutes of sitting down. Love your work, team.
I was there 3-4 days ago.
Had a lovely dinner with my girlfriend and the only thing that was annoying was a group of around 10 Europeans who were really rude and demanding to the staff despite the staff trying to accommodate for them.
But full credit to the staff they were busy and still kept doing
Very pleasant atmosphere and the staff were very pleasant and helpful . Large tvs to watch the rugby on . Cold beer and large proportions of food on your plate.
Nice food with affordable price. We ordered creamy pasta, pan fried fish, zukinni pancake, and BBQ lamp. All they were very tasty. The total price was 100, which was quite affordable, and the staff were super friendly.
Had a wonderful last night of our New Zealand stay having a lovely meal and drinks with our children and mother in law, music, food and service by our lovely waitress was awesome, highly recommended
Went for a nice snack to share and a couple of beers. Nice beers on tap and it went great with the nachos that we ordered. Also looks like a nice place to have dinner or just hang out at the bar.
