The world's biggest sandwich. It's like getting salad between two slices of bread. This place also has the world's best cheese cake, and the smoothest flat white.
Tasty, classic bakery kai with excellent service. Loved the banana pancake! After eating I found my car had a flat battery. When I asked them for a jump start, they helped my right away with a big smile. Great bunch of people - highly recommend.

A beautiful fay in a beautiful historric township, made better by afternoon tea and food. The refreshments made an exhausted traveller willing to learn more history
I love the coffee here and the mussels and the potato topped pie is the simply the best. Actually everything is fresh an hot and delicious. The place is clean an tidy and it's nice to relax inside or out or even take Yr food to the park. The staff are friendly an polite.
What a great place to stop off for food they have a good variety and there is plenty of parking right outside .
I had never been here and I was pleasantly surprised. Really large range of food with some healthy options. Well presented and clean cabinets. Friendly staff and really reasonable prices.

Great service and food. I got a steak meal here and it was delicious. Better than the steak meal I had at the grand tavern Te Aroha, not to mention cheaper and cooked to the way I want it medium rare.
We were served a hot steak, eggs and salad with chips and asked for a Flat white including hot chocolate and enjoyed the meal. To finish off for dessert, a lovely creamy donut... But, this is one of many meals to choose from, just so happens we were just returning to Hamilton from Kuaotunu on a 3 day vacation, just outside Whitianga and hot water beach in the Coromandel. We decided to stop for a nice hot meal. Steak was my first choice. The price... value for money, in my view. A few doors down is another place we first visited however, we settle for the Te Aroha Bakehouse venue.
It may not be everybody's cup of tea but, that day...we felt special.

Stopped in today on way to Paeroa. Got a yummy Lava cake. Omg had to stop in again on way home to buy some more. So yummy. Fantastic friendly young lady at the counter. Going to be the food stop from now on.
