We came to this place to have an ordinary lunch. My choice was a pasta of the day, which was seafood linguine. Wow, this was one of the best pastas I ever tried. The taste was great, squid was especially nicely cooked. Also, Guinness from the tap was amazing - much tastier than usual in other places
Stopped here on Sunday afternoon. Live music on, very tasty food ( had kimchi cauliflower with pickles) and interesting menu. Perfect service and good prices.Highly recommended !!
Mindblowingly good food, hearty and well flavoured. The chef definitely knows how to make some very delicious dishes. Atmosphere is great and service is top notch. Heavily recommend!

Bonus points as this is one of the few pubs with a decent amount of vegetarian options. (Like 5 proper options that weren’t pasta) I had the meat Korean burger, my partner had the vege burger, both fantastic. Then we also had dessert and the cheesecake is epic.
Beautiful lamb dish. Lamb extremely tender and the most amazing flavours on our plates. Everything was cooked to perfection ! Our second time here visiting from Auckland and did not disappoint. Would highly recommend. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Was so pleasantly surprised at the menu of one of the few restaurants in Te Aroha being so extravagant! We arrived late in the evening but they still let us order which was nice. We ordered fish & chips and the chicken and avocado salad. The fish & chips had 3 servings of fish, plus salad, fries with tatere and was advised this was very delicious and went perfectly together. I had the salad and wow..
I took my parents in law to this place for lunch during their visit to Te Aroha. The food was amazing and well priced! We are all impressed! Kudos to the chef and the staff! 😃
