Probably the best pad thai takeaway I’ve ever had! This is one of my go-to places to grab lunch from work. Amazing food and very friendly staff. Their pork pad thai is delicious, meat and noodle ratio is balanced and has lots of sauce, which makes it even more delicious.
Beautiful food every time, and the people are so lovely! Worth a drive if you’re not a local, but if you’re in Te Atatu you’re so lucky 😉 never been disappointed here!

probably the best thai place in auckland that I've ever been to! got the chicken pad thai and larb gai with my mum and it was yum. I read this review on here about the pad thai being so crap and all but I thought it was actually pretty good - the chicken pieces were really generous. as for the larb gai, it was so good it reminded us of the salads we had in thailand as we were there only a few weeks ago! it was spicy and sour in the right ratios, definitely recommended! would love to try the curries next time although I bet my mum would be getting the salad again bc she loved it that much 😂

Have just left very satisfied with the Nam Tok I ordered. Nam Tok is my favourite Thai dish and I get it pretty much everywhere I go including a vast array of very upmarket and expensive restaurants across Auckland. I've only once ever experienced a better Nam Tok and that was in Perth. The real plus here is it is also ridiculously cheap! I couldn't believe it. The owners were super friendly, asked how the meal was etc. I highly recommend for authentic Thai flavours at prices so low you're basically robbing them.
Found this place via Google when we were looking for a decent Thai place and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing. Well worth the 30min drive. Heaps of vegetarian options. Food was reasonable priced, but I would happily have paid more considering how delicious it was. Highly recommend.
Ordered the Pla Rard Prik a couple of years back. Really good snapper, with an authentic cultural taste. Really enjoyed the Thai sweet chilli sauce also. The waiting time was a bit long, but worth it.
My favourite dishes are the thai salads - yum woon sen and also seafood talay. One of the best I have had :) the shop is a hidden gem :) I will definitely keep going back :) good portion size too! Highly recommended :)!!
Vegetarians delight! Thai Flavour rightly gives a decent discount for veggie dishes. $7.70 average price per dish. Excellent value. The food is consistently good and they use more vegetables than just carrot, broccoli, cauliflower and onion; often including a variety of seasonal vegetables too. They are also happy to make dishes vegan as well. It is not a dine-in kind of place but there are tables if you do want to eat there which is handy. Friendly service too! Thanks Thai Flavour!
Really fresh and light curries with crunchy veggies. Really love the healthy flavour. Amazing value for money as well, so its easy to be a regular.
Yum and cheap! Perfect for those nights you don't wanna cook. I ordered Thai curry which didn't take long to come and decent sized portion for price.

Having fallen in love with the food whilst travelling in Thailand I can honestly say that Thai Flavour is the most authentic Thai food I have come across in NZ. Their Larb Gai is insanely good!

Quite honestly, I am not a typical kiwi. I have lived 17 years overseas with over 50 visits to Thailand. I have been sooo disappointed with self-proclaimed "Thai" restaurants all over Auckland that have terrible food. I visited so many Thai restaurants including one in WestEnd area where we promptly chucked the meal in the rubbish and I was ready to give-up. But much to my surprise! I discovered the THAI FLAVOUR small take-away restaurant on the TeAtatu Road. Careful this is NOT the Thai Peninsula Restr. fancy place but I am talking about a true take-way place. I can honestly tell you this is authentic thai food and if you love Thai food you will know in an instant. I strongly recommend the dish Chicken Larb Gai....if you are bold order HOT spicy which is my first choice and the flavours are non-stop and it brings out your endorphins. Enjoy you have fond a true hidden gem in Auckland I travel from town to be here. Please don't tell your friends I want this place all for myself. But much too late because my best mates from Takapuna drive to Thai Flavour just for the food ! JACK Auckland Central Freeman's Bay

It was with some trepidation that I gave Thai Flavour a go after spying a very bad food rating in their window (about a year back!). I guess I just totally wrote them off.
However I recently decided to give them a go (they are back to B rating). Food DELICIOUS and service great. Prices extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back.
Prices are extremely competitive with Thai Peninsula, which is also very good, but more expensive.
Our local and we love it! On first name basis due to our regular visits. Great food, great price, great people.

You will not find better value for money, quality and service than Thai Flavour. Would have it everyday but settle for once a week when I'm in the area. Fantastic!

Great value for money and always fresh ingredients! Veges are crunchy, duck and meats are always juicy and everything is so yum!
The only things I wouldn't recommend is the tofu tord and the roti. The roti was homemade but small portion, hard and tough to chew. The tofu with peanut sauce is a little bit cardboardy because they slice it thinly and fry it but it goes super dry. The peanut sauce is Yum and it would be a really nice dish if they used cubed tofu or even puffed tofu.
This is our go to place now when we want Thai food for the whole whānau.

Go to place for thai takeaways in Te Atatu. Lovely staff and affordable prices. I went to try some of their new menu (Grilled chicken served with either steamed rice or sticky rice and Katsu chicken with noodles) was really yummy. Grilled chicken tasted a bit salty but very nice when having it with rice.
I and my husband have been getting takeaways from this shop for an year now, and never had we had a bad experience. The lady is so nice and we love their dishes. I like the panang curry and fried rice esp. Consistent good food and the place is mostly calm. This shop is our favourite !!
Been going here for years and at least 3 owners. Quality changes a little as cooks change but current cook is very good. Very good Thai food with a wide menu selection including starters, curries, stir fried, salads, seafood and vegetarians catered for. Can use a couple of tables on premises to eat there but primarily a takeaway. In good weather there are forshore reserves and parks all around. Phone ahead to save time

Great flavoured food...We can see why this has this name "Thai Flavour" One of the best we have tasted and we have tasted a few. We will be definately driving from Henderson to Te Atatu to buy this food. Ordered the Mixed Entree and Green Curry Chicken and it was out of this world. Great food and at a good price.

Reasonably priced, yummy Thai. My local and go to for tasty Thai takeaways. Flavours have not been adjusted too much for us westerners and they're happy to adjust the chilly factor to your preference. Recommend!

I went there a couple time. The couple who are own such a lovely people. Food amazing and the price are effortable. The place to sit down and have a good should be more seat and should provider for spoon and fork which should not be plastic if they have food in store.
Beautiful meals! I usually go with the BBQ pork fried rice which they serve with fresh cucumber, tomato and lemon on the side, So Fresh!
One of our favourites, we make an effort and drive right out to Te Atatu for this. Love the Tom Yum soups and the Pork Larb! Always great Thai food and great value
We ordered pad thai, garlic and pepper beef and thai fried rice and all the three dishes were so delicious and big portion and the price was not expensive. Great customer service aswell. We would love to go there again.
