My daughter, mokopuna (grandchildren) & I were in Te Atatu Peninsula this afternoon for a house viewing & we were really hungry & had to search Google Maps for a Halal joint to have lunch at. We rocked up to Anatolia & it's quite deceiving because when you view it from the exterior it looks really small but once you enter the door it’s very spacious with a modern tidy interior & there are even toilets for the customers to use 😀
My daughter ordered the Shish Mixed Meal, my grandson ordered the Barbeque Chicken, my granddaughter ordered the Lamb on Chips, & I ordered me only a Banana Smoothie because I knew that I would be the garbage disposer, i.e., the one who gets to eat everybody’s left overs lol 🤣 My mokopuna demolished their meals & my daughter only ate half her meal because the portions were more than what we expected & she was of course full. & so guess who ate the other half of her meal 😏 We all agreed that it was one of the best eat out meals that we have ever had, & we are looking forward to going back there again if we are ever in that area. Also the attendant, Maharau, who served us was very friendly & accommodating & he even offered to take the photo of us for this review. 😊 Higly recommended 👌
I have visited Cafe Anatolia Ta Atatu yesterday and had a Kebab and coffee. Kebab was too yummy. I was really amazed by the service from staff named Maharaj. He was really amicable, proactive and professional. You will never regret after having their food and service. I love to visit them again.
Giant as Kebab, so good. I'd love to come by again.
A awesome place for your kebab fix. Made fresh and always tasty. Maharaj has awesome customer skills and always see him smiling. Sometimes I’ll be walking past, and even if he sees me I’ll give him a little wave. My go to dish is the mixed iskender! Give it a go!

Yummy food, Great little cafe that has quite a bit if space inside to sit. One of the best kebabs that I have tried, the only suggestion I have would be to toast the kebabs as it will heighten the experience of the food. The staff are very friendly and know their locals. Would definitely recommend eating here as a healthier alternative.
Yesterday me and my partner frist visit at "Cafe Anatolia, Te Atatu" for having coffee while entering the store it was amazing greeting by cafe attendant MAHARAJ and we ordered Long black , Flat white and kebab . Me and my partner enjoyed a lot because kebab was too yummy one of the best kebab to us and Coffee was absolutely amazing . At the time of finishing our meal we are offered for drinking water by cafe attendant MAHARAJ that made us feel good caring for the customer. If i got the chance must give millions of stars for this cafe because of the meal, customer service, friendly staff, good atmosphere and very tidy shop. we decided we must visit more often and highly recommend for this cafe.
Fantastic fòd place. If you love hot hot spicy food this is the place to have Meal's great setting, higher chair for toddlers. Can eat inside great service. Near McDonald's and next to pizza place on Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula
A genuinely good almost-chain-feeling Turkish food joint. These guys make really quite nice takeaway Turkish food that is consistently fresh and well cooked. Not the usual oily, almost dirty tasting Turkish takeaway that I'm used to.

Visiting first time at Cafe Anatolia Te Atatu impressed me greatly by their delicious meal , incredible customer service, tidy shop as well. Customer Service Representative Maharaj was outstanding and helped me to get my meal out though it was a bit irritating to me to ask him so many questions to find my meal out but he was more attentive and friendly as far talking to him he has got a good knowledge about their meal and finally he made for us Mixed Meze , lamb kofte, and BBQ chicken as well how fantastic those meal were can not explain because my family members enjoyed every bite and mouthful due to having good portions , fresh sandwich bread , fresh vegetable . in a word yummy yummy and yummy..it was a fantastic farewell by Maharaj opening the door while leaving the store and proved a kind. Thanks Maharaj god bless you I must give for this restaurant Hundred out of hundred and want to see more branches in Auckland . Must visit again Cafe Anatolia and highly recommend for this restaurant.
Good little spot. Decent food and great flavours. Definitely give it a go if you like Turkish food. Also a way better alternative to Domino's and Maccas.

I know nothing about Turkish food.
I gave him an idea about what I wanted and he showed me all the options in the menu.
The chicken and lamb kabab he prepared for me was delicious.

Lovely Turkish takeaway and restaurant, I would highly recommend the lamb or chicken sandwich. Avoid the chips, they're a bit average. Best to walk next door for those.
Misunderstanding at time of order.....sorted it out fast and made sure we were looked after. Really good customer service.
The quality of food is also good. Clean shop.
We love this place! The food sizes are big, they're affordable, and they're prepared fast - plus there's always great friendly service every time we go there.
