Great little place in Te Puke. Had eggs bene. Cooked to perfection. Amazing staff and great coffee.
We stopped here on our way through Te Puke for morning tea.
Ordered a 4 cheese scone and a cheese and spinach scone. Both scones were delicious and large and came with 2 butter satches each. That in itself is rare as most cafes serve with only one.
My mocchanio was piping hot, and the ice coffee came in a large glass and was thick and full of coffee flavor. For $22, you can't go wrong. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and good portion size. Service was friendly and quick. The cafe itself is large with tables and chairs outside too and is right in the centre of the township.

Had a great ice coffee here. The salads are good too. really nice food all around at reasonable prices.
Edit: went again on Saturday early afternoon. Got an amazing salad wrap for $8 and it was huge and delicious! I also ordered the hash stack which is pictured and was very happy with it. Two kinds of mushrooms! Win!

Went here today and it was amazing. We got 2 coffees, a fluffy, a pie, a juice and a muffin and it came to $21. The prices are amazing! The lemon creamcheese was one of the nicest muffins I've eat. I brought some to take home with me. Alot of space in the cafee also which is so nice
Best selection of individual pies , plenty of filling light pastry ,served hot, we had light and tasty chips too. Kiwi simplicity at it's absolute best, great Coffee, lovely food, friendly happy staff, was fuller than it looks in the pic's, and when I ordered breaky, staff member told me there would be a LONG wait of 20mins, not long mate just good service. I would probably have walked straight past this cafe but I had read the reviews from others and decided we had to try and we were not sorry. Home-made Ham Hock Soup with sourdough toast was just the best and my husband loved his pie. Awesome staff. Place was humming with locals and a few tourists like us. Next time you are in Te Puke give Marigold Cafe a try. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent cafe. Massive range of cabinet and fresh cooked foods. Highly recommend the baby bear and big bear breakfast 🍳

It was quiet. Under new management therefore food has changed for me in quantity and quality.
They have one if the best eggs bene! Lovely service every time! Always busy but has good consistent service! The meat pies are delicious and the desserts are lovely! Good range of sweet treats with gf options available.
Their macaroni cheese is better than home-made and they have a great selection of cakes. Everything is reasonably priced so it is no wonder they are busy. Highly recommended

I have few friends they have a gluten intolerance. They love this place, because of good range of GF options. The place is very cosy, the staff is always very polite you can easy spend there almost while day. Unfortunately they close at 2 PM and some people trink the coffee as well later. I love the savoury scone.... If I don't see them I would say I eat a quiche, which is my big love.
Parking is posible very close on free freedom parking.

Food is presented very well and was good when served. Only issue is that they forgot two people's orders and we had to remind them. Not cheap but enjoyable place to catch a bite.
