Sawyers Arms - Tikokino - Photo album

Popped in for a coffee and a steak meal due to being overtired and a little bit "off balance" diabetes wise. Staff were excellent and very professional. (I had to leave the salad. Forgot to ask for it to NOT be included πŸ™ƒ). Felt much better after the meal and made it home safely.
Nice cozy place and was the perfect stop on a road trip. Food was tasty and the staff were kind. Lots of friendly dogs roaming around and a good atmosphere.
Heading back from Hastings to Wellington decided on a stop for lunch. Great decision. Staff were personality plus. Meals very yummy .fire, beverages and locals awesome. Dog friendly and If you don’t have one Buster is very willing for a pat or leftover. Will definitely stop here again

Visited for lunch on two days at the weekend. Friendly hosts, great food, loved the venue. Reminded me of English pubs. They have casual accommodation too. A retreat worth a visit for Hawkes Bay residents looking for a destination on the weekend. Only 30 minutes away. The two sisters, Colleen and We

A great place to encounter the locals.
Fantastic little pub with a big family feel. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, you feel like you're amongst old friends, such a great place to meet for a brew and a bite. The accommodation upstairs is comfortable and clean. I recommend the Sawyers Arms if you need to stay in central Hawkes Bay!
Excellent place to stop and rest when travelling the long roads of central Hawkes Bay. Had bangers and mash, which were local produce and really good! Buster the lab is one of the most friendly dogs and welcomes everyone who arrives here.
An oasis in a parched countryside. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic host who politely checked and scanned our covid passes. As one of our party was in a wheelchair she offered us an onside table but we all wanted to sit in the shade of the outdoors. Out host sanitized the table and took our dr
I have driven past a number of times and never got the impression this was worthwhile calling into, how wrong I was, my first impression was totally off the mark. Stopped in for lunch with our car club, bright and modern inside, very clean and restored beautifully. The meal portions are very generou
This is a Hawaiian Pizza. As you can see I have already started to Eat it. The wife and I went to The Sawyers Arms on Sunday 20th June. The wife got the seafood Platter and I went for the pizza. This was one fully loaded pizza, whole pineapple rings and heaps of the other fillings. I had to take som
Great pub and really good quality food in big portions. Nice pool table and beer garden. Main kitchen opens at 5:30pm for dinner but they have bar snacks available before.

Sorry no photos, great spot on SH 50 for a cheap beer and feed. Indoor outdoor seating, plus a playground, which isn't that great! Plenty of parking even when busy, staff lovely.
