Very nice meal for 2 adults and 4 kids , tasty food , bit of waiting but not excessive considering they were busy with many takeaway orders, we all enjoyed, would come back next time in Timaru.

Amazing food the bento boxes are my favourite! Sad it is closing down. Timaru need more variety of places to eat. Another good place yet to close.
A great traditional Japanese. The bento box and donburi were tasty and fresh. Portions were king size and the staff is incredibly friendly. A somewhat hidden spot on the highway, but it's worth it.

Great food and great staff. They do amazingly well for the small number of staff. Have had to wait awhile but always worth it. Anyone complaining about a little wait has never worked in hospitality.

The sushi rice should be more sticky to taste more Japanese. Btw, the mixed tempura udon was marvelous and truly delicious. The overall setup do appear to be simple but decently Japanese.
Very good sushi. You have to buy the sushi as a set of 5 or 8 (of the same recipe). But that's because they prepare the sushi while you wait. The sushi's (consequently) always fresh and juicy.
