i went to the pita pit establishment on Saturday at 5:30pm after a long shift at work when i set foot in this facility i was greeted by the employees it was the biggest warm welcome that i have received in a while, when i ordered the employe chloe helped me, in the kindest way possible. the food was scrumptious and well cooked and it was the best food i have had in timaru these girls did an amazing job id say Chloe was the best
Food was yummy and pita was full . Would have given 5/5 for food if my pita hadnt split in front of my eyes as i was eating it, through no fault of the staff on. Glad i ate in store.
I have had the eggd sandwich and berry blast smoothie and made a salad as well. All super tasty. Today though I had an amazing lady help me as I dropped my smoothie trying to take my stuff out to the car as I had my baby in his capsule. She cleaned it up for me, made me a new one and then helped me take my stuff out to the car. Such a lovely lady, thank you so much for you niceness!!

Been coming here for over 6 years now. In that time the place has started to show its age and appears a little worse for wear. The food is OK - as expected for a pita pit.
But on my last visit there (Dec 2022) there was a single person working who was busy with an existing order which meant a longer than usual wait until they were free and I got my order taken and once made it came as a pretty soggy item and overall very so-so.
Not sure why it was so badly made.
But they appear to have trouble getting (and/or keeping) staff here as they had lots of "come join our crew" signs everywhere inside. Maybe this is a sign of the times.
Love eating at Pita Pit Timaru, the ladies always so welcome and well trained by Sharon. Always stop in on a Wednesday to have a good chat and laugh. Will recommend Pita Pit to all my friends.
