We ordered 2 slices of bacon and egg pie from the cabinet. Then sat and waited for over 10/15 minutes before we had to change our dine in to a take away as we needed to get to an appointment. The pie was great the staff were lovely but next time we will make sure to ask what the wait time is.

Love this cafe. We stopped for a quick bite and to charge the car and had a great breakfast here. They made me an egg breakfast that was not on the menu and could accommodate my dietary restrictions. The staff and service was even better. I would highly recommend.

Found this cafe online as one with Gulten Free options...huge bonus. Met family members there who were on way south & I came over ex Morrinsville...I was pleasantly surprised that after 2pm they still had options available for me as GF. The Fruit and Nut Slice was the best I have had...impressed with texture -moist not dry, great flavour - so often GF things are so bland or tasteless, certainly plenty of Fruit and Nuts and to finish off a great Mixed Berry Smoothie just the ticket on a hot day. This cafe is also dog friendly and they provided a bowl of water for the travelling family dog. Would definitely go there again....service was also great. Thanks 👍

Stopped here for a break on the way down south. It's located slightly away from the main road, so it felt more private than the other cafes around the area. I ordered an Open Steak Sandwich and a long black. The coffee was decent. And the food was unexpectedly delicious. I was amazed at how thick the steak was, the simplicity of a slice of cheddar cheese, and the sweet onion marmalade was great. I wish they added some greens to balance the dish out, though. This is minor, but the cutlery with serviette wrapped around was covered with the marmalade, which made my hand really sticky straight off the bat lol. Coming from Auckland, I knew of the high transmissibility of Covid in an indoor space. I wish they left some windows ajar to creat some airflows. Keen to come back again to try other dishes.

We called in here on our way through. I had the creamy mushrooms which were excellent. All the other food looked really good.

Food was really good. We came in at a super busy time which meant the tables were all used or the empty ones were dirty. Took staff awhile to clear.

Nothing special. Everything same as other cafes. Food was good, short of staff.

Good food, good coffee, nice people but really noisy, echoing room. Hard on my husband's hearing aids and on my ears. Maybe look at options for absorbing sound. Shame as it is just off the busy main road.
