The food price is reasonable and they open very early in the morning. They are the only one open 6:50 am in Sunday morning. Thank you. VH
The food is great.
The Snapper meal had perfectly cooked fish and chips and eggs.
The bacon and eggs meal was more filling then I have had from any other cafe over the last decade.
I tried the pies last time and they were great also.

Great crackling. Great prices. A gotta-stop place if you're passing through Tirau and you want a delicious home-cooking style meal or a quick snack.
As usual Great Value for Money.
Clean and friendly. Our Fav. Place for a Coffee or an All day Breakfast if you are Super hungry. Have asked for it to be halved.

Stopped and had a pork and watercress pie. It was really good! Definately worth the stop.

Looks can be deceiving - modest on the outside but all the business on the inside with great food and great prices. Coffee about average but pies and sammies were awesome.
Fantastic service and unbeatable prices! The Oxford bakery & cafe in tirau is a must visit. Your classic kiwi sausage roll and chocolate eclairs. Perfect!
I love this cafe. A lovely couple run it and the food is great. Can't wait till they do their roasts.

Always stop here on our way to Auckland. Food is good value standard roadside cafe fare. Toilets are in need of a spruce up.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. Looks simple on the outside. So many cafes in Tirau but the food here is really good!
