Store owners were absolute delight to chat with, so friendly and the ice creams include unique flavors and are AMAZING!
Drove from Auckland to Taupo, we just stopped here. We got ice cream which is reasonable price. I didn't buy any sweets but if you like sweets, you can get some from here.
Generous sized ice cream, really tasty. 6 dollars for a double with a waffle cone.

It's always a treat to stop here on our way through Tirau. Great assortment of old fashioned sweets and modern lollies. Try the Lianda mixed fruit sherbet, yum!
