I can’t believe it has taken me THIS long to visit @deco_eatery! The food was unreal 😍! We ordered the ‘Fattoush Salad’ 🥗 which comes with fresh veges 🥬🥒🍅, crispy croutons, candied walnuts (which was a pleasant surprise) and your choice of chicken 🍗, lamb, halloumi or falafel (I ordered the chicken skewers) it was a 10/10, I highly recommend trying it! We also ordered the ‘Eggs you want’ 🍳 with a side of chorizo and bread 🥖! The interior was also decorated very nicely and had a pleasant vibe. There are so many items on the menu I’m keen to try! 🤩
The coffees were so amazing we ordered more than one and the food was so delicious! Very tasty and full of flavour!! Have returned a few times since and will continue to do so
It is one of the cafe that opened in Christmas day. Although we did not order the food, they have excellent customer service. That is the reason I rated 5.

Also have friendly staff too 💕. 60 minutes free parking outside woo. There’s a Grabone deal on currently (2 meals + 2 coffees for $30) which is an absolute steal! ➖: Nothing really. The chai latte was a bit too strong for me, but that’s my problem not theirs haha. Top notch cafe!
Absolutely love it here! The staff are super warm and welcoming, and know how to make a good coffee. The food is also really tasty with a variety of options. Definitely a place I regularly enjoy.
My husband and I shared a plate of scrambled eggs and a plate of berry pancakes. The eggs came with a chilli oil and were delicious. The pancakes were a bit sweet.
We love the decor and the ambience. We've always enjoyed excellent service and we'd recommend their fried chicken, it's amazing ! Would recommend.

After visiting Kaitarakihi beach, we were after some dinner and Deco Café’s been on my list of places to try for a long time now. Dining in, the atmosphere and décor was excellent. There was plenty of space and whether you were after a pub like experience or a sit down dinner, Deco is able to accommodate your mood.
When we arrived, it was relatively quiet as it was a Tuesday evening, we got to sit right next to window overlooking Titirangi. I like how there are small touches of a middle eastern flavor and gave the place an authentic vibe.
Fabulous service, with the service being particularly helpful with our meals and drink selection. Presentation was as expected top notch, heaps of color and assembly of your meal. Fried Calamari here was a favorite and our mains where tasty with great texture. In terms of new flavors that will blow your mind and make you question what you had put in your mouth, we didn’t get that experience but this is a great place for dates and the overall experience is worth trying.
Showstopper: Fantastic overall experience.
Overall Grade: A-
Really tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of gluten free options. (Though as usual the fryer isn’t separated)
Well worth the trip out west.

I honestly regret ordering the dish... The dish looked so good on the table next to ours so we wanted to give it a try, but the chicken wing was so dry it’s totally over cooked.
The waitress was so lovely! We accidentally spilled the wine but she cleaned it up with no complaints. We couldn’t finish our food so she asked if we wanted it to be taken away. We happily said yes and she even ran out to give us the takeaway box when we paid and forgot to bring it with us.

A pleasant surprise in our own backyard. The rating and reviews for this place is accurate. No complaints! We cane here at 4pm kitchen has finished serving lunch and dinner starts at 5 pm but plenty to choose from on the sharing small platter menu. Cakes and sweets also available. Highly recommended .
Went here for a spontaneous brunch. Staff were lovely and kind. I ordered the Menemen with a soy mocha and they were both really lovely. Came out in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend to try the coffee here. They're great and have a very playful twist on a normal espresso if that's something you're into.

Deco Eatery is one of those places that takes you away and makes you feel like your overseas. Love the look and feel to this place. The menu features plenty of classics and also some unusual dishes, there’s something for everyone. The prices are up there, and more than some but the food is good!
My partner and I both ordered the Turkish breakfast and when it arrived it looked like breakfast for a king! Well presented on a long platter with condiments and an assortment of food - it looked delicious. Each element was fresh and worked well together. A nice combination of sweet and savoury. We managed to eat all of it and didn’t feel overly full or sluggish afterwards which was nice! Definitely recommend to people that always opt for the Big breakfast classic or is your after something a little different.
Well-staffed on a Saturday, the service was good and our waitress was polite and friendly. Tables were cleaned promptly and the eatery was clean and tidy.
If you’re in the area I’d recommend stopping by at Deco! We’ve only tried breakfast here but they are also open for lunch and dinner. We’ll be back for sure!

Fattoush salad and caramel slice was excellent but the Angus pure burger was very average. Service can be slow though as they seem to be really busy. Overall a great place to eat at although it can get quite expensive.

The best Mediterranean i have ever had!
Starting with the Calamari Salad, it was mindblowingly tasty! The Khawai in the Rustic Brushetta was prepared extremely well! Soft and and just the right amount of smoke. Of all the dishes i would say the Rosti benedict was the average one , but even that was prepared well!
Aah mahn no words to say about the baklava it was THE best!
We arrived in the afternoon. The place was quite busy due to a child's birthday. They were happy to accommodate us and did politely advise there was a food delay due to the birthday. Started off with a cold brew coffee, which was great. Ordered the deco breakfast which was well portioned and the food tasted great. Staff were friendly and answered all questions. Will be returning.

Went here yesterday just before midday and the place only had a few people. The cafe is so beautiful, really spacious and decor was beautiful! really loved the look of the place.
Between the 4 of us we ordered 2 Market salads (one with halloumi and one with chicken), the French toast and the bruschetta bene. The price for the meals was definitely on the higher side ($26 for a salad!) but the quality and serving size of the food definitely made the high price point worthwhile. My chicken salad was absolutely delicious, especially the pomegranate dressing.
Service was good but not fully attentive, even though the place was quite empty. This didn’t fuss me too much so I didn’t account for this in my rating. Little things like asking if our meals were good, or if we needed anything/top up our water would’ve been appreciated however.
Great friendly service. Lovely coffee, food was above average. I had the breakfast wrap, so big i couldnt eat it all. Very cool turkish decor. Will be back to try something different.

Loved the fettuccine and brownie! 12 and 11 year olds were sort of lost between main meals and kids meals. Our waitress did fumble her way through the night spilling a wine, tripping up, dropping straws etc. We did however get a drink on the house! Beautiful restaurant. Will visit again

Got the halloumi benedict and it was delicious, generous serving size could definitely be split. The best part was the coffee.
Overall it is somewhere I always look forward to going and trying new things on the menu, as well as a place to stop off for a decent coffee.
Amazing place and food 👌🏼👌🏼 had the fattoush market salad with slow cooked lamb, and a shared platter. Definitely recommend for a feed after a hike in the Waitaks!
Staff are awesome, service was efficient. Food was great. Ambience of the restaurant and the feel of it so welcoming and warm. Would recommend others try other dishes, potato rosti needed a bit of a kick in flavour or something extra added maybe a lime wedge and despite the extra room on the plate it was quite filling. My co had deco breakfast and says it was great no problems there. All in all a good place to eat.
Went to Deco Eatery on 09 Jan for brunch with mum and hubby. Service was quite average (it was busy), the Maitre D look moody (hope she feel better soon), ambience was great and food was good. Love the Crispy Potato Rosti. Hubby had Greek meatballs. He think if a slice of bread is provided along with the meatball that will be the best combination.

Introduced the savoury scone to my dining partner. She gave it a 5/5. Best scone ever. She has been comparing scones all over the world and this occasion has surpassed the best placing from Taranaki 3 years ago! I had the borek which was heated up. It was 3/5 for me. The root vegetable based with the filo pastry was a bit heavy for me. I was looking for a gluten free option but there was nothing on the counter. Anyway, the kitchen area as you can see from the photo is amazing. It looks very efficient and has a place for everything. Toilets were also well thought out and worth a visit to check out the map of Turkey. My friend also commented on the relaxed ambiance and will make the trip across town to eat here again.
We stopped in for a quick snack. We had the most delicious savoury scone. It was so huge that we shared it amongst the three of us with lashings of New Zealand butter. It hit the spot after Te Uru. My friend noticed the well designed kitchen and expressed how comfortable it would be to use the kitchen. They noted the additional flavour in the coffee and wondered where it came from.
Good place for a brunch weekend and they do brunch menu until 5pm. They have traditional European breakfast and some Mediterranean menu as well. They also offer a variety of bakeries and pastries.
Ambience of the cafe was beautiful and the service was great. Food came out within 15-20 minutes and their iced chocolate is so gooood.
I would like to visit again next time to try their mediterranean menu.
I have been to Deco a handful of times and everytime I go there I am always impressed. The atmosphere is light bright and relaxed. The staff are AMAZING with my wee girl and go out of their way entertain her and take great care of us. The food is Superb every single time and again the service is fantastic. Highly recommend this place and SUPER Bonus for being sooo kid friendly.
Lovely and substantial food that's consistently good. Attentive service if not a little slow sometimes. Odd seating scheme where they tend to put you right next to another table even though there are loads of tables away from people. And can get noisy when it's busy

I visited in a Friday afternoon so the eatery wasn't too loud and busy. The decor and building was so beautiful with Turkish asthetics everywhere - great for a weeding venue. The Food - the cake and coffee came about 5-7 minutes after ordering. Great hot chocolate and flat white with a good hot temperature. Followed not long after was my potato rosti. Very well presented and my poached eggs were cooked on point (nice and runny) however my mum's food still hadn't arrived and I was half way through my plate. She went to the counter and found out the waitress had forgotten her order. Not to worry, the waitress came over and personally apologized and my mum's food was ordered quickly afterwards - she only got curly fries which were served with a decent size bowl or tomato sauce and aioli. Overall this was a nice spot and I will definitely like to come back in the evening and try their cocktails!
Nice place it looks like it's always busy. We sat down for breakfast and ordered eggs on hash and it came out in 3mins after we ordered it was like they had it already waiting.

My first time here - I literally can't fault these guys. A gorgeous diner in the lush suburb of Titirangi. The decor is like a modern twist on traditional Turkish furnishings - aesthetically pleasing to say the least. The service was awesome the entire team from the front of house, the waitresses, the barista & even the manager himself were so polite & well mannered, and although it was a slightly busy morning they were never without a smile and just appeared so composed. Our order came out super quick, the food tasted just as good as it looked on the plate, LOVED the crepes & the Whittaker's hot chocolate! The Turkish delight was a nice touch ;) I think I may have found my new favourite breaky spot.

Came here for dinner with my partner for a special occasion. Heard about this place on urbanlist so wanted to have a try. The restaurant was beautiful with neatly set tables and stunning decorations. There were quite a few tables free and we sat at the comfy chairs with cushions. However next to a large table which was very noisy and we were seated right under speakers. The rest of the restaurant looked much more chilled and pleasant. Our waitress was so nice and took our order promptly. We ordered the lamb, meatballs and chowder and dont have a fault! We would have ordered desserts however it was so loud I couldn't hear my partner talk the whole night so we had to leave and get dessert else where. Overall enjoyable night.

Had heard mixed reviews about Deco, but we really enjoyed our visit & didn't have any of the issues that some other reviews have mentioned.
Our waitress was friendly efficient & knowledgeable of the menu.
We rang & booked a few days beforehand to ensure we got a table as they are very busy on weekends & particularly when there is a market on. It was a wise choice although they have a large restaurant & did have some available seats. We were seated overlooking the bush which was nice.
The menu has lots of Turkish inspired dishes - we chose the soup & chicken salad. I'd heard lots about the chips as well & they were well worth ordering. Coffees were well made. Cutlery & crockery were beautiful
There are lots of sweet treats available but we were full.

I've seen this place from an article on Facebook where you can find the best hot chocolate in Auckland and luckily it's only 7 minutes away from our house.
I'm not gonna make this long. We've visited today for a brunch and I wouldn't disagree with their hot chocolate being named as the "best" in Auckland. Well not only that, the food was good. What I like better is the ambience of the entire eatery, it's just really cozy and relaxing. It's like a cute fancy place to dine in. The staff are really friendly and I haven't had that experience in a while now. They're just genuinely nice.
No wonder the rating of this place here in Zomato is high. Foodies are right and this joint is definitely recommended.
Fantastic! We loved the food, and the service, and the decor, it was all wonderful. Absolutley no complaints! We left very happy and very very full! Compliments to our waitress who was just lovely. Such an exceptional place with an interior that speaks modern Mediterranean. Nice furnished furniture, with blue paving. The food was perfect, fresh and just the right amount of flavours. Their ice coffee was delicious one if the best I've had so far. Not too watery had full coffee flavour how I like it. The service was outstanding! Our waitress was polite and attentive. Deco is a great place to go for brunch. With their outstanding menu it is hard to choose from.
Our favorite eatery as of February 2017! Incredibly put together restaurant. Only if I could show photos of the inside. Decor is very Mediterranean. Everything has a lot of detail including the food. Unfortunately during cyclone Debbie their mezzanine bursts leaks i the middle of the service so hopefully its been tended to.
came in here the other day and ended up feasting like a king! for my main dish i decided on the crepes, which were not only presented beautifully but had authentic buttery flavor! my sister and i also caved in and ordered a side of fries that were rustic and golden. to wash this all down i got a generously sized mocha bowl (go hard or go home right?) and, as usual, was delighted by its deep richness! how lucky am i to be able to call this place my local y'all!!

Love the overall Turkish design and feel of the place. Ambience is really nice. The staff are very nice and friendly to deal with. Would suggest to make reservations or bookings prior to avoid the wait. The eggs bene was really good and their wines are good too. I was kind of expecting for them to have a lunch menu though as what I have seen on their website. I guess I'll have to come back for dinner to try other food they serve aside from their breakfast menu.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The salmon and meatball was tender and well balance in taste and texture. The host Jerod was amazing, friendly, courteous, warm yet professional. Highly recommended.
A lovely vintage art deco building and a mediterranean-inspired interior houses this charming cafe. The salmon eggs Benedict I had for brunch was lush and delicious. And the coffee was excellent! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back for more.
Went to Deco with family today and it was fantastic. We rang ahead and booked a table knowing that our guests would be tired after a long haul flight and we were giving a comfy spot against the Manukau Harbour side of the building. We ordered coffees, french toast, the daily special (that was a kind of scrambled egg taco) and a simple bacon and eggs. All the serves were generous and the wait staff were efficient and professional and always seemed happy to help. The coffees were excellent and presented beautifully and the in-laws were impressed with their first meal in New Zealand. The prices were standard for Auckland and good value for the size of the meals.
Such a pretty space and example of good hospitality, Deco should be a benchmark for casual eateries in Auckland. We will definitely be back
Beautifully presented both inside and out, we had such a lovely experience here. The Mezze platter with crayfish was an absolute delight and we enjoyed all of it, it was just enough for a table of 4 to nibble on. For my main I had the watermelon salad which was sufficient after the platter but probably not enough for someone having this on its own. It was full of flavour and admittedly it took me a while to get used to as the watermelon salad I make at home is more bland with only watermelon, cucumber and feta used. My only preference would be to not have the olive base that was used, perhaps a tzatziki one? I wonder if I could request that next time :-)

Ordered a wrap here for $17 on Saturday for lunch which was quite pricey in my opinion. The wrap was large in size so I had trouble finishing it and it was also very tasty! The interior of the place was very cute with the art gallery right next door and a nice view outside. The service was fast and friendly considering how packed it was! Overall, a great cafe although a bit on the pricey side, will definitely be back.
Deco Eatery is under the same owner as Bodrum Kitchen at Brickworks. But I much prefer the menu and ambience here. The interior deco is comfortable and spacious with lots of light from the big windows. The whittaker's chocolate was great and I had breakfast in turkey which is simple and comforting. The Turkish coffee is very strong on its own but is balanced out with the Turkish delight candy (though I still had to add a little sugar). If you are looking for a pretty place with great food, look no further!
This place is wonderful! I literally saw it from the road and pulled over this morning. Once I entered it was like being transported to cafe heaven. A table with a large array of fresh baked goods was a feast for the eyes. The breakfast menu with its range or Turkish dishes is so interesting and the coffee is excellent. Service is friendly and pretty quick. The crockery and the decor are to die for. I liked it so much I went back for dinner on the same day. Service a bit less attentive but meals were excellent. Will be going back again tomorrow. It's that good.

Went for Sunday brunch with a group of friends. A friend told us this place used to be a gallery before and hence the aesthetic feel to the place. Large doors and windows which brings the outside in with beautiful greenery outside. Love the vibe of this place, we ordered various dishes but Greek meatballs takes the cake- it was beyond perfect and purely Mediterranean. Their Rosti was alright, perhaps the meatballs had raised my expectations, their Turkish bread was a beautiful dish, it's more like a Greek pizza. Unfortunately I did find their menu limited but for a cafe it's quite big n mostly busy. Their coffees are very funky comes in traditional crockery enhances the whole experience. Overall worthy of the hype, will definitely go back.
Went here fore a (very late) breakfast and really enjoyed it. The interior was gorgeous and so well decorated, and the service was similarly excellent. Ordered an ice chocolate and a dark Whittakers hot chocolate which were both lovely, and then we ordered the french toast and the potato rosti. The french toast was nice, kind of what you usually expect but still well done, and the rosti was apparently a stand out. It was a bit expensive when it came to the bill but the beauty of the cafe itself seemed to make up for it.
Service was TOP notch from Miss Gabi Le Roy. Food was divine, had the Deco Wrap. Coffee was amazing as well. Such a gem in Titirangi/West Auckland. I wouldn't be surprised if most Aucklanders drive all the way out there to go to it.

I'm a local and this is up the road from me! It has great views of the Manukau harbour, I've eaten there a few times and the menu is really nice for breakfast brunch and dinner, they have friendly staff working their and their coffee's are really good, it's a good place for meeting people. It's very popular during the week and in the evenings and it gets busy in the weekends.
Food: The food was absolutely delicious. We came here for dinner on Sunday night and we were just completely amazed by the flavour & portion size of the food. We ordered the homemade middle eastern dips and bread for the starter and that was pretty yummy, I think one of the dips was smoked salmon (or some kinda smoked fish) and that was probably one of the best ones i've ever had. For the mains we had the jumbo prawns and 24 hour braised beef cheeck which I both highly recommend.
Service & Ambience: Both lovely. Waiter was very helpful and attentive and the decor and atmosphere was great too.
Would definitely love to come back for dinner and also brunch!
Sometimes I find it difficult to find nice cafes around home, however this pretty cafe tucked in Titirangi village has definitely surprised me.
For a weekday brunch, we ordered the cranberry and apple porridge, deco bene with bacon, a milk Whittakers hot chocolate and a white Whittakers hot chocolate from the all day menu.
If I could make porridge like what was served here, I would probably have porridge at home everyday! It was tasty and the cranberries helped give it flavour.
The deco bene was what you would expect for a standard eggs bene, but super yum.
Both hot chocolates were very well done. The difference between the two were the stick of Whittakers chocolate given to melt into the cup.
Lovely place, comfy seats with cushions, will be back.

I have been to Deco a large number of times with family, with friends, and alone. The coffee here is amazing - it never fails to impress me - and their mochas/hot chocolates are served with a piece of homemade turkish delight, which is a nice (and classy) set-aside from the standard marshmallows that most places give you.
The food is generally of a high standard, fresh, well presented and absolutely delicious. My absolute favourite dishes here are the french toast with poached pear, the crepes, and the Greek meatballs and veges. Both the interior and the exterior design are very sleek and modern, with an ornate Turkish twist that is both stylish and sophisticated. There are many different seating options, which makes it perfect for any occasion - a work do, family dinner, birthday, date night, lunch with the girlies... the list goes on.
Deco has a great vibe, a great location, and impeccable service, food, drink and interior design. It is definitely worth a visit.

A really enjoyable breakfast this morning. Always relieved when omnivores, Veggies, and vegans all find something enjoyable on the menu.
Informed several times how wonderful the French toast was. Truly memorable apparently , although my Rosti with bacon was also very good. Happy coffee drinkers around and really attentive but unobtrusive service.
If decor is important to you then I think this place is definitely worth a visit. Cool, crisp and welcoming . Well worth 4.5

Called in here on Saturday 19 September 2015 for an afternoon drink, had their Turkish Coffee with Delight ($5.00) - just the shot that hit the spot - very nice soundings and lovely furniture, excellent customer service - will have to go back here. You can visit Lopdell house while here - the spiral stair case is cool and so is the view at the top.
Today I went to Deco Eatery with my wife and her work colleague. We were here for just a coffee catchup.
The staff members were extremely friendly and put in an extra effort to make sure we are having a memorable experience.
The coffees were perfect and we cannot wait to try some of the other items on the menu.
Also - this cafe must have been designed by a very intelligent interior designer as they've managed to create a brilliant aura around within this place.
We will be back here again 👍🏼👌
Deco Eatery is fantastic, a regular location for us to visit. The same incredible owner and team also run other great restaurants across the city including Nomad, Bodrum Kitchen, and Casablanca.

The coffee is sourced from their own roastery, and perfect every time. If you get a chance, you need to try the in-house made cold brew as well. It's worth the wait.
Staff are always accommodating and attentive. Various in Ambiance across the restaurant makes for a very comfortable dining experience, no matter what your taste. This cafe is popular, so be sure to book if you're going at a meal time.

We have breakfast here a few weeks ago. The egg benedict is one of the nicest I've had una long time! Impressed with the quality of the food and the very friendly service! The coffee is a must try!
The BEST iced mochacino! My partner and I enjoy coming here on out days off as the ambience is very relaxing. The cakes and muffin were really good too, not too sweet and good proportions! Totally recommend this place!

I love going to Deco for the atmosphere is really relaxing and you get a nice view of the green view in Titirangi.
I would so recommend to try their french toast which I proclaim one of the best french toast I've ever had! The flavours go together really well.
Plus get the Whittakers dark hot chocolate to warm you up.

Very impressed with this place. Firstly I was very surprised with the amount of room inside! Lovely decor inside.
Staff were friendly and worked at a good pace. The drinks menu was extensive and the cocktails divine!
We got the Mezze platter which was just perfect! Then we got a salad and tagine, just remarkable.
The price was brilliant too! I would go back again for sure.

I highly commend this restaurant on their food! Set in an old art gallery right in the heart of Titirangi, Deco eatery is a large converted gallery with a Mediterranean feel to it. I came here just over a month ago with a couple of girlfriends and think we potentially over-ordered.
Altogether we had the hummus and pide, jumbo prawns, mussels, lamb rump, chargrilled vegetables. I absolutely loved the jumbo prawns, with a little spice in the sauce - excellent for dipping your bread into.. And it seems like the Turkish pide comes as a side with everything. For dessert we tried an assortment including the traditional baklava and the raspberry trifle, which was more so like an Eton Mess than a trifle.
Food was plentiful for the price and wait staff were polite enough.
A few weeks later I came again for lunch, which was just as tasty and satisfying as the dinner menu. I had the menemen which I would recommend trying.
Overall, really delicious Turkish/Middle Eastern food. Great value for money! And wonderful views of Waitakere flora if you manage to nab a table by the Windows.

Cute place, different areas depending if you are having a meal or just a coffee or a drink. Lots of staff who are attentive. Went for brunch on this occasion, lots of appealing options on all of their menus. The plate ware is gorgeous. The food was unfortunately slightly underwhelming, it was ok but nothing to rave about. Would go back to try other dishes. The turkish apple tea was 👌 would have been nice as an iced option in this humid weather
The decor of this place is so beautiful, I haven't seen anything quite like it before. The food was delicious and well enjoyed by everyone I was with. The service was also very good. I would definitely recommend this place to other people and I am looking forward to the next time I eat at deco.

By far one of the better, if not best, cafe that I have visited in recent times. The first impression as I stepped into deco eatery was how on point the interior design was. The colour scheme was well fit for such a place and very instagram friendly as I should put it. The ambience was fit for not only a casual lunch out on weekends but I would say it would be a nice place to go for dinner (although I have only experienced brunching/having afternoon tea there).
The second time I came here (second time in a month) was with a group of friends. Customer service was nothing but delightful. Several menus that is worth noting and my recommendation would be their french toast, home-made potato rosti, and feijoa smoothie. These were the dishes that really struck out although I would not be lying if I said everything was top notch. Additionally considering myself as somewhat a picky coffee drinker (3-4year barista experience) I must say I was impressed by the barista there. We ordered several cups of cappuccino and they all came out with assorted variations of latte art. The consistency was there, something some baristas find hard to achieve during busy periods.
Overall, deco eatery is a place you should go out of your way to visit. If you are looking for somewhere to impress your friends or family this would be the one.
Side note: If you are lucky, sometimes there will be an employee there who is able to read the "turkish coffee" and able to do some fortune telling for you from that.

Went here with the family for lunch today and had a great time. From the moment we walked in the door till the time we left we were treated very well by the staff. The food is very good as well. Eggs cooked perfectly it's a small ask but so many get it wrong.
The coffie is quite good to. We will be back!
What a hidden gem in my own backyard. I have lived in Green Bay all these years which is like 2 minutes from this place and today was the first time I ever tried it. I had the chicken wrap and smoothie it was amazing even though I had it as takeaway. Loved the subtle but inviting interiors and very friendly staff so will definitely bring the whole family for dinner here sometime.
What a surprise the Deco Eatery was. An incredible fusion of mainly Turkish dishes but also some more standard "Kiwi" breakfast options in an amazing and welcome decor. Making a decision was pretty difficult but I went for the grilled halloumi bruscheta which was simply delicious.
This is one of my favourite places on the planet. The interior is amazing, I never want to leave. The coffee is like no other and the scones and muffins are 10/10. Service is impeccable. You cannot help but feel calm when you walk into deco. If it's on your list - go right now!
Found this place on zomato while visiting Auckland. The reviews are spot on. The food is delicious! Defiantly unexpected as there aren't many good mediterranean restaurants in Auckland. We ordered almost everything on the menu to try it and we were impressed by the lot.
Definitely one of the best places I visited in Auckland. Quite far from the city, it's true, but if you are going to the southwest beaches you should drop by there.
The interior design is beautiful and cozy and there are plenty of seats. So, unless it's a very busy day you will get a place quickly.
Finally, not forgeting the most important: the food is great and coffee is far better than most of other Auckland coffee shop.
All of this plus a friendly service is what you'll get at Deco's.
What better occasion do you need to go out, than a family birthday? The "birthday girl" had decided on wanting to go to Deco, in Titirangi. Once again, we were greeted on arrival in a very genuine and welcoming manner. We were going to have brunch, but on spying the selection of cakes and bakery items, minds soon changed. I had a delicious lime and sultana cake, which went so well with a great coffee. The staff were very friendly, and engaged in banter with our group, which added to the experience. Well worth the trip to Titirangi.
We had lunch here after visiting The Te Uru Gallery. It was very busy but we were seated right away. The decor is excellent, a lot of small details have been considered here. The staff were friendly and our meals came out pretty quickly. The food was great. I would recommend this eatery to anyone visiting Titirangi. A lovely dinning experience.
Excellent place to go. Small and great menu. One of the best chai latte I've had in years! Its a must go place for anyone travelling this side.
We came hear on a beautiful sunny morning. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant where the sun shines through. Perfect.
I love the decor in this place, it looks very modern and clean and have beautiful Turkish touches. I ordered a soy hot chocolate and also the tomato rubbed Turkish pide with halloumi, avocado and bacon. My friend had the French toast. The Turkish pide was exactly as described. Very simple but really delicious and the perfect weekend breakfast combination. The french toast was very good too, I only had a few bites though.
My friend really liked the coffee. They have a little roasting machine out front. Lovely place!

We were in Auckland for Fleetwood Mac and caught up with friends before the gig. They live in Titirangi and took us to their new favourite spot, Deco.
We arrived and it was busy, very busy. We were told 45 minute wait. They took our number and we popped across to the pub for a drink.
10 mins later we got the call but we'd order a beer. We popped back after about an hour and they had our table reserved and ready for us. Nice.
Good atmosphere here and a buzzy, busy place. Really friendly staff and nicely designed area.
I order a Turkish craft beer. Well, I was told it was a craft beer... but it wasn't. No bother though, it was ok.
The menu looked good. There wasn't loads that grabbed my attention but there were a couple of options I found it difficult to decide over. I wanted something 'Turkish' so it was between the Sujuk and Halloumi Kumru, and the Lahmacun. I went with the Sujuk.
All the meals look fantastic. Fresh and large. I like halloumi but I find it rubbery sometimes. This was beautiful. It was a big meal. Soft bread (i thought it would be too much at first) and the sausage was very similar to chorizo. I was stuffed afterwards. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meals too.
Wait staff were attentive. We weren't rushed even though they were busy. A great recommendation from our friends.
I drive past here almost every day and it looks so inviting I had to come in and try it this morning! We were seated and given water very quickly, very friendly staff. It's very modern/medeterranian type atmosphere and decor. My friend and I both ordered the eggs benedict on the house made potato rosti and I also had a side of avocado. This is without a doubt the best eggs benedict I have ever had! The potato rosti was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, filled with spices and herbs. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise was amazing! The coffee is strong, and well made. The only reason I haven't rated it a full 5/5 is because I found a sticker of some sort in the food as shown in one of the photos. Aside from that it's definitely worth trying and we will definitely be coming back soon!
The decor and location are spot on, and the lemon lime & bitters/meatball main I had were delicious. Only qualm would be that the lime meringue pie isn't so much a pie, but rather some lime paste, a biscuit, and a meringue put on a plate together. Very much enjoyed my time at Deco, however, and will definitely be back.
This place has been on my list to visit for a while and I was delighted to finally made it there. Beautiful historic building with stunning views. I ordered Feriza's Breakfast (fried eggs, Turkish Suzuki sausage, grilled halloumi, gherkin, kumbru bun, olives and herbs). It was delicious and flavoursome. They also have an amazing selections of cakes and slices so I just have to order eventhough my guts screamed no. The peach & almond cake was so good. And the Turkish coffee was perfect to end my meal. Highly recommended!

The food is Middle East inspired and more importantly fresh and tasty.
The menu is refreshed every so often to keep things interesting and there is also a table with freshly baked goods (muffins, cakes,slices etc.) for you to choose from in case you do t want a full on meal. (Deco is open for lunch and dinner and though I've only been there for breakfast/brunch my wife has had dinner and has come away with nothing but good things to say).
Deco is situated in the Titirangi city centre and has some great views for you to enjoy while dining.
Deco is child friendly and there is a special menu for children as well.

West Aucklands best kept secret!
Just had brunch there. Beautiful atmosphere. Even impressed the friends who gathered from all parts of Auckland with this choice. Well presented food. Only one negative...children's menu needs to be included as part of the regular menu. Sort of gave you the impression that they didn't really want to cater for them. Overall worth a look if your visiting Titirangi. Take note...car parking down the side road of Lopdell House.
Haven't been so impressed with an eatery in a long time. This place is worth the venture out if you do not live close by. All meals of the day provided and great coffee!
Amazing ambience.. Probably one of the best dining rooms in Auckland. Food is absolutely bang on. Flavours are awesome ! The coffee takes a while and instead of the board I wish I had a plate then the huge portion (Delicious FERIZA's Breakfast) would have boundaries and limits. Instead of ending up on the floor... This place was amazing .... No this place IS Amazing .. I live out east (Botany) and I would happily drive 40 minutes for anything on the menu.... But for the entire drive over I would pray it's served on a plate (if the portion size remains the same)
Great atmosphere lots of light and not cramped. Service was pretty average, the waitresses seemed a bit rushed off their feet. Great food however and for the Tea Lovers, there is a great selection 😊

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Wow, this has to be the most visually stunning cafe I've been to in Auckland! I absolutely loved the Mediterranean tiles and Scandinavian inspired furniture. It gave the cafe a regal feel, without being stuffy or over the top.
FOOD: I had the Menemen which was a wonderful combination of tomato, capsicum, egg and herbs. It was piping hot and went down well with warm pide bread. Would have this dish again.
COFFEE: beautifully made. Top marks for the choice of cup and saucer too.
SERVICE: excellent. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The manager made his presence felt in the cafe so it was great to see pride in passion in the business.
With the Waitakere Ranges as a backdrop and the neighbouring Te Uru gallery as a point of interest, venturing out to Deco is truly a worthwhile experience.
The french toast should have been brioche and not a French stick. Too chewy. Bit the flavour was well balanced and quite good. Coffee is great. Roasted in house with their own house blend, you can taste the love they have for good coffee.
A MUST VISIT!!!!! It has been a while since I have been overwhelmed with a flurry of excitement upon entering an eatery, I could not help myself from snapping away photos of everything! They really mastered the balance of modern yet exotic- the decor was full of warm tones with the splashes of calm blue throughout, giving it a relaxing beach house feel, and adorned with plenty of Turkish/ Meditteranean style crockery to temporarily whisk you away from Auckland.
Book to get a great table and ask to be seated out back to enjoy the great views. This family friendly cafe has a great atmosphere that is unmatched by any of its rivals in Titirangi. Add a Whittakers Sante bar to any coffee order for an indulgent treat, but hold off if you want room for dessert. We came for lunch starving, but left nicely full. I had the Feriza's breakfast and my friend had the potato Rosti. Neither disappointed. It's a great place to linger as long as you are able. The nearby newly refurbished Lopdell gallery means Deco is excellently juxtapositioned for a pleasant day out on the edge of the Waitakeres.

Deco is a beautiful eatery and has the food to match it! Their home made hollandaise sauce is to die for! I love the atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and accommodating :) slightly higher prices than my usual cafe's I frequent but the meals are worth it. It also makes a nice place to go when you are wanting to venture out and try something new - especially with their Turkish fusion meals.

Comment: a long drive from town but worth it. A treasure cove hidden at the back side of the Auckland. I would personally rank the food as exotic, vibrant and flavorfull. The meatballs are lovely, juicy and exploded with flavor with every bite. A place highly recommended for everyone.
So far its the best in the west for breakfast with an exotic twist. I had the tomato bread with haloumi advocado and bacon - favourite breakfast to date. Yhe decor is also lovely and the natural light is great. Only downside is parking but hey they cant control that. Well worth a visit

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I had the most amazing time at deco the other night with my partner, we had a lovely waitress named Page and the hostess was so welcoming and we even had the lovely manager come over and make conversation with us which we thought was awesome! The service was unbelievable and loved every second of it! I've told everyone i know about your amazing place! And the food was just to die for so thank you Deco for the amazing night!

Enjoying Japanese Green Tea, the staff only too happy to top up the water for us. The teapot is made of cast iron and keeps the water boiling hot. The tiny teacups made us reminisce of our childhood tea parties.
It's hard to believe that Titirangi survived so long without a restaurant of Deco's quality. Not only is it a pleasure to drive past and see the beautiful Lopdell House restored to its former glory, but it is a delightful experience to eat, drink and socialise there too. The restaurant occupies a great space for dining and the Mediterranean-style menu is a great mix of fresh produce and authentic Turkish/Greek dishes. I didn't think I would be able to find menemen outside of Istanbul - so delighted to find it here, so close to home!
Mady Johnson and I went to Deco Eatery yesterday morning for breakfast - a first time for both of us, and we loved it.
The location was lovely, a great big space with a variety of seating. We sat in the window seats overlooking Titirangi, and I was very impressed with the atmosphere. The staff were also very friendly and efficient.
We were immediately asked if we wanted any coffee and this was then delivered promptly.
The crepes came quickly - perfectly textured with lovely orange flavours and toppings of cream, berry compote, cream, and pistachios.
It was a lovely meal in a lovely location, yet I have only rated as a 4, as I felt it was quite a standardised menu, with nothing innovative standing out.
Absolutely LOVED Deco. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating for our group of 12.
Some of us arrived knowing exactly what we wanted, only to be told the menu had changed THAT MORNING. My friends may have disliked this, but I loved it - it meant getting to decide on something unexpected and I love a good surprise!
I went for the French Toast which was perfection. I also overindulged and ordered a Flat White which came out just the way I like it - smooth, creamy and slightly sweet, not bitter. Then I decided to order a Dark Chocolate Whittaker's Hot Chocolate, which comes with a chocolate bar emerged in the milk!
The decor is beautiful, bright and relaxing, everything you look for in a Saturday relaxation spot.

We were out west me and the wife, decided to have breaky. Found out Deco was the place to be at. We ordered 2 eggz bendicts, a mocha and a whittakers hot chocolate. Now being out west my assumptions were "yep just another cafe." But this 1 blew me away food was great, a lot of salmon i loved, food and service was great, food came out fast even though they were busy and the whittakers hot chocolate yum. Overall 11 out of 10. Been out to other places in central Auckland, but this place tops it.
The loveliest café out west. Came up to Auckland for the weekend and was excited to try out this adorable new café. This is an art deco themed restaurant/café that roasts and blends there own beans to wonderful results but absolutely my favourite part is the gorgeous hand made style cups. Will definitely be coming back
As a Wellingtonian it's a given that I already hold our capital city's cafes, restaurants and eateries at the top of all tiers and can be quite obviously biased when visiting Auckland. There's usually something I can find fault with, but I admit that this was nigh impossible at deco. I couldn't fault their menu, their delectable food, their setting, their artistic crockery, and their airy yet homey decor. My lentil soup with Turkish bread was sensational (although be warned the poached egg is actually incorporated within the soup), and so was every other dish chosen within our party. After salivating over the look and smell of the French toast and whittakers hot chocolate I already have my next visit's order sorted.

Came here with a group of about 15 friends for a send-off lunch for one of our colleagues, and couldn't find a bad thing to say about Deco. The service was friendly and attentive, all of our food arrived within a few minutes of each other so no-one was left waiting, and the crockery it was served in was gorgeous. Even the water jug was a beautiful silver with intricate patterning which we all loved.I ordered the beetroot hummus with falafel and pita bread, and the falafel was some of the freshest and most delicious I've eaten - and I've eaten a lot of falafel! The hummus was beautiful and the pita was fresh and warm and delicious. I had serious food envy when seeing another customer with a bowl of their lentil soup with Turkish bread (I had been tossing up between the two dishes), so I'll definitely be back to try that as well as their Whittaker's dark chocolate hot chocolate, which comes with a stick of Whittaker's sitting in the glass melting. That alone would be enough to get me back! We all loved the decor and service and the coffee completely brought me back to life on a Saturday morning.
Simply amazing. I was amazed to watch the coffee roasted. Cooled and placed into the grinder. Coffee is 11/10. The food to match. Simple flavours, fresh and clean. Presentation is fantastic.

Went to deco for gathering with friends, still wonder with bad reviews but this place is superb, great service and delicious food. Although they didn't put the carrot cake tiramisu on the menu but they manage to made some for me and it was yummy. My fattoush was beautiful as well,, absolutely going back again 😍😍
Went for a morning stroll and came by this place, decided to check it out, place was flash az and I didn't get turned away as I was wearing hoodie shorts and trainers, anyway the service was very good staff kool az 👍😎. I ordered the crepes and a coffee very nice yo. I'll be back oh yeah.
Dropped in this evening for a glass of wine with a local friend. Love the ambience. We were seated in the bar area - very attentive staff. They pay attention to the finer details. For example, a friend arrived late after the food had already come out. The waiter whisked the remaining Lahmacun away & heated it up for her.
We all loved the comfit salmon. The elegance of the presentation is surpassed only by the flavours on the plate. It really is worth driving to Titirangi just for that salmon. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I visited this near new cafe in the weekend. I loved it. A moroccan theme with airy decor and friendly staff. This is another bustling spot due to good food and a great atmosphere. I had the home made rosti which was crispy. covered in eggs and hollandaise sauce. Delicious. Coffee was good too. I look forward to trying their dinner menu. Loved the crockery! Parking is available close by and there is a lot of seating inside. I would recommend it. Price is ok as food is good. I don't mind paying an average price when I leave happy!

Just changed the rating for this as we popped in here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised at how good the dinner meals were!! Service still needs improving as it's annoying when you have to ask for water when others get served this then have to ask for top up... A lot of waitresses around they just need stop talking and be abit more attentive.

After brunch on Mother's Day, my family and I were taking a stroll through Titirangi when I spotted its newest addition, Deco Eatery, and I couldn't wait to try it.
Let me start by saying this cafe is GORGE. From the soft wooden tables, to the copper lamps and the white beehive tiling, this cafe is the epitome of interior decor perfection. I also fell in love with the crockery, a wide range of ceramics were used and I loved the unique feel it gave to this eatery.
I ordered two pots of tea over the time we were here, and both served me with two generous cups. For brunch, both Jordanne Leigh and I chose the Lahmacun, a thin based minced beef pizza. The pizza was fairly acidic, but after requesting some of their black garlic aioli to put on top, the creaminess definitely even out the acidity. We chose the option to have mozerella cheese for an additional $2, but I feel it was more of a necessary option that held the topping together.
I would definitely be inclined to come back and try Deco again, if anything to Sit amongst the beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere.

When I saw there was a brand new cafe that had opened up in Tititangi, I was very excited.
I had eaten at some of the other cafes in the area but unfortunately the quality had declined over time.
Deco was a beautiful sight to see. The decor on the inside is stunning. Wooden floors, white tables, white beehive tiles in the open kitchen and blue accents from pillows on chairs. Stunning.
It's really warm and inviting. I have been in 3 times now and have tried a few things from their menu.
Potato rosti which was well cooked. I swapped the eggs for mushrooms and if was a decent, standard meal with hollandaise that was overly seasoned.
Then I shared a messe platter with my mum. For a really reasonable price of $32, we had 3 bowls of salads (bean, tabouli and broad bean) and 3 dips (salmon, hummus and tzatziki) some falafel, 4 slices of bead and some gerkins. If was all really delicious and a fun meal to eat and share on a Saturday.
Lastly, I ordered one of their meat pizzas that I can't remember the name of, which was a little tart. Both Rhiannon Baldock and I ordered it and wished it came with some aioli or something to make it more palatable although the base was thing and the mince was flavoursome.
Typically the menu is on the expensive side and service has always taken longer than I expected.
Would I go back? Yep. For a casual catch up, it's a beautiful open space that's really comfortable and inviting.
The crockery is amazing. Ill attach some photos so you can see the stunning plates, cups and tea pots.
Heard a couple of bad reviews about Deco but my friend assured me it was good so I gave it a try. I was not disappointed :) quite busy but we got a nice little corner table so the noise didn't bother us. My coffee was superb and my burger which had chorizo and haloumi was delicious. My friend's lunch looked equally as good. I would definitely go back! My only issue was the first waitress sat us down then went off to get us menus and water and never returned! But the second waiter more than made up for it and was very friendly and prompt.
Dinner on Mothers day with my wonderful kids at Deco. They couldn't have chosen a better place. My penchant for luxury, style, comfort, taste, ambience, service and of course the extra ordinary cuisine, was happily met.
As befits its name, it was an art deco decor. The plating of the food was exquisite as was its taste. The lighting was just perfect, not too dim nor too bright. There was enough room to sit comfortably without having to tuck in my elbows. The cutlery and silver ware was also very stylish. I did feel loved and welcomed as I was greeted with a single long stemmed red rose bud and two tiny bundles of Turkish Delight, at the table.
It was truly an exquisite experience and I hope and wish the high standards of excellence remains consistent, as it gains in popularity.
I will definitely visit this again. Even if it is just to feel majestic.
I have been there four times, had breakfast, lunch and dinner, and popped in for drinks. This place is clean the service fantastic and the food amazing. Mucho Fantastico. !!!!!!!!!!

The decor and atmosphere of this place is amazing, they present their food so well and it's in a lovely location. I found it a bit confusing when coming in to whether I should sit down myself or wait to be seated as this wasn't indicated well and no one was there to direct me. Also when leaving I found it confusing where to go to pay. The meal for breakfast I chose was menemen, I found the bread on the side delicious and really well made although the grilled tomato and that was a bit bland and sort of adverage. The eggs Benedict my boyfriend had looked delicious though and he said it was good.
It was a bit disappointing when they said we couldn't be given the spirilina we ordered even though it was just from and bottle so got some overpriced juice from a bottle instead. I also found the staff a bit snobby and we didn't get one smile from them or anything which was a bit unfriendly, but I would go back to this place again as it's local and a nice spot, I would just try a different dish and not hope for outstanding service.
Great atmosphere, very accommodating and superb food. Something Titirangi has needed. A place to sit, chat, enjoy food with friend and family. Great for the group and yuppies alike.
Was told of this place when I was around the neighbourhood and decided to try it out. I could not believe there's a cafe like deco out at titirangi. It definitely liven up the little area. We came here on a Sunday late afternoon around 3pm for a late lunch. To my surprise, the place was packed. There was so much going on, there's a separate bar area, they do speciality coffee (Turkish), an open plan kitchen , lots of seating space well partitioned and even live music. The atmosphere was loud but the raised ceiling made it more pleasant. I was definitely impressed with the architecture, decor and layout. Menu looks very interesting too (Mediterranean inspired), I got the stuffed capsicum with rice and my friend got a lamb salad. We were both very satisfied with what we got. Portion size could be a little more generous. Price was very reasonable. I'll definitely come back here again.
Loved our meals, I got the lentil soup with Turkish bread which was really yummy, Tim Haslop got the haloumi chorizo burger. We were really impressed with the standard of food and the coffee was amazing. Will definitely be going back ASAP as its my new local!@
Nice environment, roomy and tables not crammed together. Serving staff were great, from the friendly greeting from front of house management to table staff who were polite and attentive.
Pre dinner drinks drawn from a very adequate selection were delivered quickly.
No entrée tonight but the mains were well sized for the price and the food was fresh and tasty. I had Moroccan Lamb Shank and my wife chose the salmon. Both dishes were excellent. Desert was also well priced and the Chocolate Brownie (gluten free) was outstanding.
Can't wait to go back.

Friendly service. Great decor and atmosphere. Food was incredible! 100% recommend their chili garlic prawns and pasta with clams and pesto. Super delicious!
Great spot to eat after a nice walk. Food was magnificent, atmosphere was great and the vibe of restaurant was very chill. Would definitely recommend going. Had the Turkish coffee with Deco Rosti Benedict with salmon and mushrooms with some pomegranate drink and it was amazing.
Environment is so good, the food was really below average. Egg almost fully cooked, everything on the plate was mouth drying, a piece of paper found in the mushroom....tomato was cold(i don't kown if it's meant to be cold)
Burger was dry
Overall, if there was a better chef, i would 100% recommend to others.

I’ve had many pancakes, both here in NZ and abroad, but these are definitely the best I have ever had! No criticism from me other than I wish there was more! The flavours are delicious and well balanced. The honey comb on top is an excellent addition.
The waitress who served us was friendly and well mannered. Despite being busy our food arrived in a timely fashion. This is my third time coming here and every time was excellent.

Waitress was friendly and on to it with awareness of time-to-table. Busy and great vibe with a mixture of diners both age and ethnicity. Next to Te Uru Gallery (why we were here) and the Upstairs Gallery on the second floor. Ordered the Breakfast in Turkey w Salmon, another with Bacon and the kids Spaghetti w Meatballs. The food was outstanding and although I've yet to actually have breakfast in Turkey, the food presented to us would make anyone proud to have it represent their home. Our little friend ordered from the range of milk teas available but thought to mention in case you wanted to make it a family affair. Highly recommended and encourage you to check it out.

Excellent service from a lovely young girl called Lexi, I came last Sunday morning with my two kids and she was so lovely and kind when taking their orders! Made my heart so happy! Great coffee and my kiddos loved their pancakes! Cannot express my love for this restaurant, will be back soon!!
I like the decoration, it’s stylish. Service is good, but the dishes were a bit small and pricey. Overall, the taste was great.

Really nice setting, very spacious and artistic. Staff weren't particularly great with service though, had to wait over 40min for our coffee, and another 10min for our food. The food was very good though, i had the lamb salad and i was surprised with how much lamb they actually had in it. A nice place to gather with friends and family
We got just some drinks and desserts but the food on the place looks delicious I can recommend you to go if you are around the place is very comfy
Came here for brunch with my family. Ordered the bug breakfast and meatballs. All the food was fresh, fulfilling and hit the spot. Didn’t take pics of everything else as it got devoured. Have also come for dinner and these guys quality and portion sizes are great.I have never have a bad meal here. Will visit again in a few months. Keep up the great work team.

Deco Eatery is a delightful gem near the Titirangi township. They have a seasonal menu, which means every visit offers something new. There is a breakfast and lunch menu with a variety of options that will suit most tastes. They are also licensed 🍷🍺
The view is awesome. I loved the decor, and the fact that it feels like you are sitting in the tree tops 🌲🌳 and blue is also my favourite colour.
The coffee is brilliant. We had a flat white, hot chocolate, and Turkish coffee. The food was good for the most part. I love carrot cake and tiramisu, so when a carrot cake tiramisu was on offer, I had to have it! Unfortunately it tasted neither like carrot cake nor like tiramisu, and it was deconstructed, so that was disappointing, especially at a cost of $16 🤑💸
