Handi Restaurant - Titirangi - Photo album

Lovely people, opened early for us. The traditional Indian food was stunning. However the butter chicken may as well have been a desert it was SO sweet. Wonderful service. I'd happily go back but please tone down the sugar, it's so unnecessary.
$10 for wide range of mains & byo. Works out a really economical dinner but really, really yum. I had 26 guests & only negative remark was that their dish could have been more (spicy) hot. Can't wait to go back again. Only issue to be aware of is that there is limited parking - my advice is to arriv
We really enjoy going to dinner here. The new owners are attentive and helpful. Food great and had a lovely chat about the history of a dish with our waiter. Think locals should give these new owners a second tryout.
Was easy to order and hands down the best meal I've had from them; I had Lamb Korma - possibly one of the best I've ever eaten With lamb naan - simply outstanding And a mango lassie - that was exquisite Well done guys loved it!
It's was our first visit - we tried the banquet and was given very generous portions. The entrees were a standard Indian sizzling platter without any surprise. The mains were fabulous. Creamy butter chicken, flavourful vindaloo, a tasty rogan josh and a vegetarian something I can't remember. when we
Always love our curry meetings at Handi. Staff always very friendly, ready to share a joke, attention to detail. Will always be a good favourite. BUT, just wish they had an answer phone so we could make a booking.
We went to Handi tonight and really enjoyed the food. We ordered the Rogan Josh and Jalfrezzi, lamb and chicken-both dishes cooked perfectly.Service was fine albeit food took 30mins to arrive.Well done.Give it a try.
. (06/2016) Delicious food Friendly service Selective menu but great preparation Depending on your seating location, it can turn out to be pretty cold during winter nights Quite popular as we could notice the regular takeaway pickups throughout our stay Good for groups and celebrating special occasi
It's great food but could do with some meals that are cheaper and better size for one person as I would love to eat here more often but can't afford to buy a three person meal for just myself evertime.
The best Indian restaurant around. Can get a bit busy so get in early. Fantastic food and good atmosphere
The danger with having two curry houses in Titirangi opposite each other is that a lot of people get them mixed up and call them by the wrong name or review the wrong place. This place is DOWN THE RAMP. It's better.
Very nice. Service was a little slow but the Kingfisher strongs and hot curry made for a great night.
Enjoyed the dinner. Food was good. Service a little slow for drinks but otherwise fine
