super cheap prices that don't rip you off! you will not find prices low like this anywhere else! amazing food, tastes delicious and is actually hot instead of just lukewarm!! will definitely be returning any time we pass Tokoroa π
The fast food franchise cafe with great value meals and excellent latte π The local hand made toasted samwhiches are $5 each and great value. Staff are helpful and friendly
Best chicken pie I have had in a long, long time. Lots of big hunks of meat with a hearty gravy in a super flaky pastry.

The Bakehouse Cafe is a bit of an oasis on the SH1 edge of the CBD. Plenty of nearby and adjacent off-street vehicle parking. Mostly covered walking to public toilets 60m away.
The Cafe has an excellent range of cakes, slices and muffins as well as savouries, pies, chips and other deep fried items. Loved my coffee too. Food can be "made to order" if you prefer.
Substantial dining space inside, and some outside tables too. Warm and cosy space in spite of being so expansive. Helpful and pleasant team members.
Great walnut caramel brownie, and a wonderful iced coffee. Very clean shop and friendly staff...a great atmosphere
I come here almost every Sunday morning to pick up me morning coffee as I travel threw only because service from staff here is awesome but could fill my coffee cup up with more coffee for a 5 star π
My fiancee and I are visiting Tokoroa for a few days and went into town for brunch. We came upon a cafe and I'm all about the menu. I didnt think their range offered value for money so we went down a few shops and found this quaint little cafe with noone in there. I checked the menu. I settled on the Pork Chop meal which came with 2 eggs, chips, mushrooms and a salad. My fiancee had the lamb chop meal which comprised of 3 lamb chops, 2 eggs, salad and chips. To drink I had a deliciously flavoured iced chocolate and he had a coke although after drinking my drink he also ordered an iced chocolate.
Very well priced for the contents of the meal.
Stopped in for a quick coffee and pie on the way to Auckland.
Was pleasently surprised with the Bakehouse cafe.

Egg and bacon toasted sandwich $4.50 was one of the nicest - fresh with loads of bacon and coffee was great ! Friendly service. We would come again if we did not live on Gold coast !
