I stop in here occasionally when traveling up and down the island.
My most recent meal was the prawn chow mein.
Well cooked, fresh veges and big juicy prawns.
Plenty of flavor makes this a winner for me.
Came off the mountain and needed a quick fix for the kids. These are good fresh reasonably priced burgers. Combination fried rice is also worth a mention too. Would recommend.
Love this place, the workers are amazing and working very hard 7 days a week without break, I travel from whakapapa Village to come here and the food has been on point every time I've gone in, the staff a lovely and friendly.. thank you for being awesome and serving amazing food all the time..

The tastiest Chinese takeaways we've had in a long time! Ordered BBQ pork fried rice, lemon chicken, chicken chop suey, 6 won tons, all very nice. If there was one thing that could be better is perhaps a little less vege and a bit more meat, example:- the lemon chicken had 2/3's chicken and 1/3rd carot chuncks. Lovely meal however and would definitely recommend!
I had fried rice chicken which was very good and enough. The service is quick.
Their prawn fried rice and deep fried chicken wings were very tasty. Unfortunately the fish and chips, not so much.
Yummy Chinese! Curry/sweet n sour was good portion and very tasty. Chips were good but could have used some extra salt or chicken salt
Ordered Chop Suey and a fresh piece of Snapper -snapper was superb , great batter , fresh and super tasty ! Definitely popping in on my next trip thru Turangi

We ordered vegetarian dishes that weren’t even on the menu last night, and the team went above and beyond- it exceeded our expectations, the food was epic. This is a must have if you’re staying in the Turangi area and want to have take away- we will be back ♥️
Ordered last night was told 15 mins it took 1hr 45 mins for our food everyone in the shop was told 15 mins not good enough. If it's going to be a while you have to tell people.
Of course, the food is not very tasty but we can not expect too much from a take-away store. We bought 4 dishes for lunch and ate at the table right in front. We really enjoyed the food. I dont know why someone rated it 1*.
