Arrived with a van load of elderly on the spur of the moment and the staff were very patient with them as they took orders and didn't rush them. Coffee and food was good thank you Mud Bay Cafe
Very nice cafe. Nice eggs and burger. Try the breakfast burger, you won't regret it! Nice ambience too in a rustic setting. The staff are nice and coffee is good!

Recently stopped at Mud Bay for lunch and a coffee and had the nicest time. Lovely building with plenty of room to move. All the food in the cabinets was very appealing to the eye and looked beautiful and fresh. The coffee was amazing, would definately recommend the coffee!! Our food was tasty and presented beautifully. The service was brilliant, our water glasses were never left empty and we were constantly approached by the waitresses making sure we didnt need anything else and were happy with our meal. Overall I would highly recommend Mud Bay to anyone in the Taranaki area.

Stopped in on the way on our little road trip, while tucked away just off the main strip this place is a gem, friendliest staff you could ever want, the food was delicious and they catered to our gluten free needs. Very pleased with this cafe.

After a long drive we decided to Stopover at Urenui. I was planning to get a drink but my children were hungry. So we stumbled upon the Mud Bay Cafe.
We were there in the afternoon, only a staff at the counter and Taiwanese chef. There weren't a lot of customers then and we were really enjoying the ambience of a country cafe in small town.
We ordered some drinks and food and they were all great. However, when we got our bills, I realize that the price are a little steep. Well, I just have remind myself that I'm in NZ. Hehehe
Lovely coffee with friendly service. Can also recommend their big breakfast with home made potato cake, pancake stack, eggs benedict and pumpkin feta quiche.

Lovely Cafè all beautifuI wood interior. I asked for tea in a take away cup and got it in a glass, the glass stayed hot for so long and I burnt my lips. A small thing really I admit, service was a little slow considering it wasn't busy, but only 2 staff on, but should have managed ok. Staff very courteous tho. Cabinet food looked very yummy. Toilets were very clean and tidy.👍🏽

I just stopped to grab a take-away coffee but I loved it. The atmosphere was super nice and the staff so friendly. The interior of the place looked beautiful. I definitely recommend to stop there and have a nice, relaxed coffee in a great atmosphere.
Wicked little Cafe, friendly staff. Yum as kai. They were happy to let us chill and download some movies of Netflix and games as we are staying without reception. They have a play area for little ones.
Absolutely fantastic food, burger was to die for. Chips were both fluffy and crispy with amazing seasonings. Customer service was flawless. Decor was very unique and appealing. Even the seats were comfy. Would highly recommend to all.

Absolutely fantastic Cafe! We were driving up north and came across this cafe. The food and drinks were fantastic. Well priced- good value for money. They have beautiful interior with stunning gardens and a deck out the front and back.
lovely service, we were greeted with a big smile from the lady up front which was very welcoming. the fire was roaring which was a nice touch seeing as it was freezing outside. the coffee was the best i had ever had. we all ordered the eggs benedict and it came out super quick. the presentation was great, ample hollandaise, the poached eggs were runny and the hash cakes were great too. we will definitely be back here again!
