Beautiful food and nice service. I didn't realize the LOTR reference until after the fact. For a healthy lunch option, I recommend the hot chicken sandwich and add a side salad. Prices here are 13-17 for lunch.

Great breakfast. Coffee was strong for our taste, but good with cream and sweetener. Very friendly and attentive staff. We only ate breakfast here, but the pies and sandwiches in their display case look delicious. Clean restrooms.

Excellent coffee, will definitely keep in mind for when we are driving through. Got takeaway but would've thanked the staff for it if we'd stuck around. They were unfortunately hit by winter sickness so we're short staffed which meant we couldn't order off the menu, but it looked enticing and very reasonably priced. Next time!

Wonderful, friendly service, great baking and simply the BEST coffee we've had in enzed - equally as good as any we enjoy back home in Italy.

So this must be a new place. We really love this cafe. The steak pie was particularly yummy. The rest rooms were clean and very good. The service was outstanding. The coffee was awesome. There is a park over the road that looked very popular so this looks like it's going to be a great cafe. Well worth a stop. sorry I didn't get any photos. If you get some photos please wake them onto.

Never been here before and was very pleasantly surprised . Waharoa is a very small ex dairy factory town but is getting a reputation of a 'must stop"due to the small number of very good cafes , this being just one of them but probably the best . Great ambience ,very clean and tidy, big food selection all freshly cooked for you -very little pre packed available - and a great coffee. My wife's cup of tea was not far from a 'high tea' experience which was not expected I have to say. Excellent friendly staff. Very well done Griddle Earth.

Had a lovely Cuppaccino with cinnamon which the owner remembered l made it just in time to get something to eat also and take something away for Matamata Market tomorrow. Very welcoming and I love stopping of here once a month. Really lovely hot food also to eat in or takeaway.

Amazing brunch- we popped in on our way to Rotorua and were not disappointed! Lovely service from the ladies behind the counter, and fast food coming out. The quality and taste we're spectacular- I had the Belgian waffles and my partner the Chorizo hash stack, and they were both so tasty!
