Stumbled across this gem during a weekend stay at Waihi Beach. Amazing food and very friendly service from our waiter. I had the classic butter chicken & garlic naan combo…. delicious! The curry was not overly sweet, with a tasty tomato flavour. The naan was the perfect mix of fluffy and crunchy. My partner had the chicken korma and Kashmiri naan which he really enjoyed. We’ll definitely be back here!

Our food was served 15mins later. Our waiter was awesome .We felt very looked after. Oh and the food was delicious.
I visited Crazy Tandoor the other night for Dinner. Must say, I was impressed they were open on a Monday night given it is very quiet around this time of the year. Curry was a just a little too salty but the Garlic Naan had to be the best I've tried in a while.

Spent a few days in Waihi beach and dined in here. Absolutely amazing butter chicken and among the best Naan bread (cheese and garlic) I've had.

The service was wonderful. The recommendation to try the Mango Lassi drink was perfect. Entree of papadum and mix pakora, followed by chicken korma and prawn malabari. Perfectly balanced curry, made with love and warmth that travels through your whole body. Will come back again. Highly recommend.

Great food at crazy Tandoor! Shared a lamb curry and 2 orders of naan and it filled us right up! Have to say the atmosphere could be improved with some music and drinks!
Surprisingly good real indian dishes in a small beach side town, with attentive service. Well cooked quality Rice, mango Lassi super thick and tasty
Second time coming here tonight and again, it was absolutely delicious. We got the Chicken do piaza (hot) and the goat masala (medium) and they were so flavoursome. The Raita and mango chutney complimented them perfectly. We also got a cheese garlic naan and a regular garlic naan. Probably the best we've ever had and cooked perfectly. The service was amazing and very friendly. Highly recommend!!! Thank you Crazy Tandoor 😊
Order a chicken biryani and a pulao there both have great taste and pulao is quite cheap with good value. The boy on the reception has very good behaviour and serving was awesome giving them 5 stars must go there if u r fond of desi food and visit waihi beach
Ordered Tandoori Chicken which was superb, garlic naan was so good we had to order another one. staffs are friendly and nice too.
This was a total surprise - yummy food - we had garlic naan, butter chicken, palak paneer, lamb, and fish tikka- all delicious! We were so full we couldn’t order gulab jamun…we’ll be back for that and more masala chai!
We ordered a butter chicken & a garlic and cheese naan. Best naan bread I’ve eaten in a long time! Was fresh, hot & lots of cheese and garlic. We were on holiday from Auckland so we’re use to the sweet tasting butter chicken but this one had a really nice depth of flavour with lots of chicken too. The guy that served us was really nice and friendly as well. Highly recommend :)

I have had indian food from a vast amount of places, but there is something special about the way they cook. food is phenomenal, amazing flavour and worth every penny. Cheers for the amazing service and food guys.
Wow it was the excellent food and service . We ordered couple of kabab and some main course with 1 curry was not in menu they are happily did my off menu request. Preeti was take care of us she did excellent fantastic job .
