Had lunch there on the way back to Ashburton from Waimate. The place was packed. Lots of cabinet food to choose from. We ordered Corn Chowder and Chicken casserole with mashed potato. It was a bit of disappointment the Corn Chowder only one third of a bowl and they forgot to put any toasted bread with it. Got two thin slices of cheese scone after asking for toast. My Chicken casserole is more like chicken soup with peas and carrots but not much chicken. However, our coffee was good and don't have to wait long for our meals.

On a long trip between Timaru and Dunedin; this roadside cafe was a coffee addicts miracle. The barista was excellent and the coffee was sublime. The food looked delicious and the decor was a little rustic. A great place to stop at on the highway for a coffee top up.

This place has so many options it was hard to choose. A great cafe to stop at for wonderful food and beverages. Friendly staff who explained what some items were and ingredients in them. Will be my stopping point now for road trips north.

I wasn't expecting much, as last time I went there was many years ago when it was just old fashioned tearooms. I have to say, blown away with their cabinet food display, it was AWESOME. Coffee was prefect and friendly staff. Well done, excellent stop.

We always choose the Whitebait Sandwich - its hot, tasty, plenty of whitebait, beautifully presented - best we've ever had in NZ.

Visited with a party of eight and the chefs accommodated our group and treated us to an amazing meal. The beet-kumara-mushroom salad is sooo nice. Cant recommend these folks highly enough. Savoury or sweet, you are in good hands!

We stopped at Nosh for breakfast and are so glad we did. Beautifully cooked scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, perfectly crispy bacon and the toast... was toasted slices of cheese scones, needless to say we were in breakfast heaven. The perfection didn't stop there. The service, coffee, range and quality of baked items, unsurpassed. I had to get take aways to keep me happy until we next pass through. Nosh is a must stop cafe.

The cabinet food all looked so amazing it made it difficult to decide what to have. I opted for the salmon fritters, which were very nice. My sister chose the baked potato which she enjoyed also. The selection of slices looked too good not to try, so we bought a selection of different ones to take away and share with others, and they were a real hit, delicious!
