A lovely meal. Enjoyed the Korma and the seafood meals the other two had looked very nice. The service was great. Well worth going for a meal. Will definitely be back.

Hidden gem in waiwera - worth a visit �
The food was great! We live close by but hadn't yet tried the place so we ordered some food for our Sunday lunch. We ordered a big tray of green-lipped mussels (which were cooked in coconut cream), a seafood platter (scallops and mussels were delicious), and various sides. It eventuated to around $22/head which was worth the money. We will be back for more Sunday lunches.
Great food. We had a delicious butter chicken! Very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. We turned up late and they welcomed us in. We’ll be back.
We've seen the transformation on this place from a dingy and dark Pub into a shiny Gem. Food was all delicious . We ordered panfried scallops, roast pork and Thai green curry chicken...it was worth all the wait. Owners are very kind and offers excellent service. Will definitely come back 😍
Visiting from Canada and driving by to look at the beach, I dropped in. This Beach Bar is all the cheerfulness and welcome that the name implies.
It was clean, bright, breezy, and friendly. The food (I had the burger and chips) was as good as I would expect any pub food to be. It didn't take very long to come, the portion was generous, and I enjoyed my meal.
I look forward to going back there on my next visit.
Not only was the lunch all I could expect, but when I phoned to ask if by chance I'd left a cardigan there, they were happy to go and look. They quickly confirmed they'd found it and would hold it for me, and several days later when I called in, yes, they had kept it safe for me.
Even though some of the comments are negative, often times places change their employees, chefs and try to fix things. This is an example that relying exclusively in bad reviews is a dangerous bias. This place, for us, served very well. Food was amazing, the butter chicken was simply divine. The mix of meat was in a good size. The atmosphere is quite nice and there is an old mini golf course for kids to play (without golf balls though). Pricewise, it was in the average for the quality and service. Worth the trip and money.
Food was good, good sized portion, service was great, friendly staff, even the hot chocolate was delicious. Highly recommend. We were too hungry to take photos but one of us did of the chicken burger 😊
Had the “catch of the day” and it tasted like fish n chips should taste like. Service was good. Prices are reasonable I guess. Would recommend :)
Great atmosphere, delicious food. The owners and staff are warm and friendly. Such a gem of a beachside restaurant. A great place for friends and family to gather. Live music adds an extra special touch. Highly recommend.

Lovely friendly greeting, good service, good beer and a nice burger (but lots of other dishes on the menu too). Worth a try if you're in the area.
Very quiet area with Waiwera pools closed but thats not a bad thing if you want somewhere quieter than Orewa on a packed day, had steak which wasnt bad at all places to sit outside and beach at the end of the road.

Very relaxing place after the weekend outdoors activities... even better next to try Masala 🍵 tea 🫖 wide selection of drinks and food... favorite mussel pot... Fijian Indian style
This is a enjoyable place to have dinner. Fully recommend the Greek meatballs. This meal was tasty and filling. It was not very busy, for us a bonus but for the owners not. This place should be visited more often.
