Fish n chips here are pretty good. Food was prepared quickly, and the staff were friendly. Pricing was reasonable for fresh snapper. Overall, a great little diary and definitely worth a stop for a bite to eat.

Simply the best fish and chips I have had in a very long time. The snapper was fresh, the batter was so perfect I actually ate it (normally I will pull the batter off my fish), the chips were perfect and the service was excellent and very friendly!!

I eat pies almost on a daily, And the pies at this store were totally delicious, tasty as and the steak was super tender, definitely recommend the steak and cheese or the steak and jalepeno 😚👌
Love the burgers. Great to have somewhere local to get food when lazy. The person who left a 1 star review sounds like an over entitled dilly dallow who forgets that the reason they are buying food is because they either can't cook for themselves or are to lazy. They would probably have a solid whin
So we’ve indulged in the General Stores takeaways for near on 4 years now, mainly because it was so bloody good! Tonight tho, it appears the art of cooking the perfect chip has been taken to a new level!!! Thanks team!
What a lovely lady that served us. I haven't had a friendly encounter like that for a very long time. She knew we weren't locals but made us feel like ones. The burgers were as good as you would get from a new age gentrified burger shop and was cheaper to. Go here if you are in the area it's the bes

UPDATE: 4 years later and still going strong! Nice fresh fish, fresh, crispy batter, and heaps of chips. Served with a smile despite the rush.
We traveled from Northshore and stopped here for lunch and was the best decision we made soo fresh and my boy said you had best chicken nuggets and chips so will defenatly be back
What great place for the little Point Wells community to hang out. The coffee here is perfect and the hot chips pretty tasty too.

Best burgers in town, fish and chips are to die for and the ladies that run the place are lovely beyond words. Coffee too is a must. (Both the gentleman and lady chef are top notch)
Amazing carrot cake and really nice kumara chips (orange kumara rather than the purple one). Burgers are really expensive so I didn't get one, but maybe next time. The whole point is that you're at this amazing Point! So lovely, unpretentious and great for kids. May be possible to access the water (
The staff here are absolutely amazing! During the lockdown they have been providing a delivery service and always with a smile. Nothing is too much for these incredible ladies (Bex, Libby and Margo). The fish and chips are awesome, as is the fish taco! Thanks for providing an amazing service always
A lot of people may know the trick to making extra crunchy hot chips but it's the delivery that counts. These guys have nailed it. Plus the burgers are delicious. I haven't tried the coffee.. Yet.
Very popular place. Ordered takeaways. Had to wait for an hour but well worth the wait.
