We presented at lunch with 7 people and they accommodated us with a smile at a bit of a smaller table because other tables were reserved. The service is excellent! The food was fresh and delicious - I had the cauliflower and prawn soup, and it was so smooth and yummy, seasoned perfectly. I had the honey parsnips on the side, and I took some home to enjoy the next day. The pasta my family ate looked delicious, and they had every bite. What a lovely lunch 💚

Such a joy to be at The Larder today. The kitchen team excelled - if you haven't been lately- it's worth treating yourself. And if the Confit duck is on the menu it's your lucky day! The parsnips were heaven.... and with such a treat had dessert too. Guess what - that was sensational too. Consistently great food and fabulous service. Can't wait to go again.

Went in search of Wellington's best cheese souffle, and we found it. Most delicious meal I've had out for a while. Accompanying salad was perfectly put together too, and the service was above and beyond. Am definitely making The Larder a go to for good food. Thank you Sarah and team!

We were in the area for the Weta tours and popped in to grab a quick bite prior, and it was so good we went back for lunch. I don’t have photos from brekkie because that was very quickly swallowed, but here were a few from lunch. Would’ve loved to go back for another meal if we could but too bad we were moving on today! Service was friendly and very helpful as well, though they do tend to get pretty crowded during peak times so you may have a bit of a wait. The only thing I didn’t quite like were that the coffees were a little on the sour side, but I just needed a bit of juice to jumpstart the morning engine so it was not trouble to me.

Good place to have brunch and the food selection good. But asked for poached eggs that were not so runny but they came out quite runny. Seemed awkward to ask them to cook them more. Plus it's quite noisy so it's hard to have a good conversation.

Outstanding WOAP 23 burger. Tasty blood orange Kombucha too. Thanks Larder 👍

Great food, the chef is definitely a champion. But we found some things overpriced (especially the sides). Each time I come, I wonder how much I should pay to get a sincere smile from the owner (manager?), but fortunately, the rest of the staff is totally adorable. The place is extremely noisy at lunch, ok for business/friends lunch. Less for family, intimate meals. It's hard to hear each others.

Likely one of Wellingtons better seasonal food restaurants for fine dining. Have eaten here on five occassions and each time has been an excellent experience. The ambiance and staff are excellent and pricing reasonable for the food quality level

Went out of our way to find somewhere great for a special birthday lunch - not disappointed in any way. Worth travelling across Wellington for. Highly recommended.

It's an amazing breakfast place, just within working distance if you are visiting the Weta Cave. The food was delicious with beautiful plating. The staff there was really nice and helpful. We had a great time visiting. Definitely recommend.
