What a pleasant surprise. Americano's is open 7 days. The menu is like Drexel's in Christchurch so you are guaranteed a large meal. I had lox and bagel with yogurt on the side. What a huge amount of tasty salmon. Freshly prepared and served with a welcome. Cozy and nicer than something that tries to be trendy. Recommended to Wellington visitors.

Excellent bacon and eggs, their corned beef hash is something different, and bottomless coffees are always great. But their hash browns, while substantial, are bland.

Really nice place. The Stuff is polite and you get always more coffee. I can recommend the Pancakes.

Tasty food served with a smile, only issue is that it's often to full to get a table!

If you're in the mood to indulge in excessive amounts of breakfast food I've got good news - this is the place for it. Pictured is smoked salmon, hashbrown with tomatoes and poached eggs, and short stack pancakes

Cosy, warm and private. Substantial meals, that look good enough to photograph. Go with a big appetite.

Loved this place! We went for breakfast a few times but not for dinner.. the food was enjoyable I wouldn't say award winning but definitely tasty and they give complimentary toast with whipped butter and jam which is a great little extra.. their English breakfast tea is really really nice.. I had the eggs Benedict, the pancakes and the French toast and my partner had the breakfast burrito, a bagel and the big breakfast and all of it was really really nice.. the service was good and the prices are okay.. would definitely recommend

We were looking for somewhere for breakfast that served pancakes for a reasonable cost. This place did not disappoint. For $19 you get toast, two eggs, bacon and two large pancakes. Reminded us of being in the USA. The staff were very friendly and gave our daughter a container of crayons and some colouring sheets to keep her entertained. There of us ate till we were full for $30 which is pretty amazing!

Being from the heartland of the states Ive gotta say Americanos absolutely nailed it. The bottomless filter coffee was just like home, the pancakes were sweet and fluffy, the bacon cooked to perfection, and the cherry on top was I asked for my fried eggs over medium and they actually came out that way, first time ever here in NZ. Our server was excellent (the tall curly haired one) and my coffee never ran out. 10/10 will be going back again. Cant recommend this place highly enough 😁
